nutty nigel 7,513 Posted April 15, 2015 Greetings PUPsand welcome to week thirty seven of our Rays Funds season. Now this weekwhatever I write as an introduction won’t do the picker justice because it’sthe legendary YankeeCanary’s turn to select the final six. If he’s successful itwill be for the 6th (SIXTH) time. Of course Yankee was our firstever winner and we were all so pleased that Ray put him straight back in and hewon again. This gave us all the belief we could win and since then we’ve neverlooked back and now have 65 final six wins. Yankee was also the first winner ofour PUPs league. But it’s not just his selections that make Yankee so valuable. It’s the support he gives to each picker as the scores and results become knownHe epitomises what I call “the power of the PUPs” and the fact he does thatfrom thousands of miles away for me sums us up as a such an inclusivecommunity. I also count Clyde as a personal friend and although we have onlyexchanged emails and spoken a few times on the telephone I really hope weactually meet in person one day. Even though he’s the real deal Yankee can’t doit without our help so let’s give him some great selections from the gamesplayed on Sat/Sun/Mon of thisweekend and listed on the Bill Hill orBet 365 web sites. After MakingPlans impressive debut last week I’m really pleased to introduce another newPUP to make the Norwich match selections. Welcome CanarygalLyn. A lot of usknow Lyndsey who’s very supportive of our group. She was on one of our teams inthe CSF quiz and has been with us to watch our brilliant DS team play football. It’s great to have you on-board CanarygalLyn. Now our great friend Ben (DDD) haspromised to double the bet meaning you have £12to spend Lyndsey so you can choose up to six selections either from the PUPssuggestions or of your own. Nowget your Norwich suggestions in early PUPs because it’s a Friday game andCanarygalLyn will be posting her picks by Friday lunch time in order for me toget them placed before I leave for The Blankets. Now I’ll hand this week’s thread over to YankeeCanary and CanarygalLyn.Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best tohelp you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising moneyfor the Community Sports Foundation. Good luck allyou PUPs... Take it away Clyde and Lindsey ... the thread is yours.......[:)]...... Feedthewolf 4,844 Posted April 15, 2015 Good luck Yankee and Lyn! Hope you complete your ''Super Six'', Yankee, and I hope Lyn gets off to a winning start.I''ll start with the match bet, and with Boro being quite difficult to break down I feel a set piece could be our best chance. With that in mind, Bassong to score the first goal at 33/1 looks a decent bet.Good spot on the 1/14 shot, Tilly! This week I''ll pick the FIFA World XI Allstars to beat St. Cuthbert''s School for the Blind Reserves. [;)]I''m continuing my quest for profitability, which is looking quite healthy at the moment at just north of £6. I don''t know much about this one, to be honest, but looking at the league position it seems quite generous. I''m going to pick third-placed Besiktas (an impressive 10-0-3 on the road) to win away to Kasimpasa (13th, with a decent 5-5-3 home record). Kasimpasa are a comfortable nine points outside the drop zone, whereas Besiktas are still bang in the title hunt. I''m guessing one or two of you may be a little surprised to see the odds on an away win as high as 11/8. Maybe the bookies know something I don''t... chellecity 0 Posted April 15, 2015 Portugal for mePorto to win at home vs Academica de CoimbraFor the match bet, I''m sticking with Bassong to score anytime.Good luck everyone, especially Yankee and CanarygalLyn
wooster 134 Posted April 15, 2015 I know you won''t believe me but I really did have Derby-Brentford (at 13/5) as a draw last weekend, I just forgot to submit it. It wasn''t all good as I thought we''d win 4-1 last week as well.Nevertheless, this week I think Stoke will draw with Southampton at 21/10 and we''ll win on Friday 2-1 (at 8/1).Best of luck YC, CanarygalLyn & everyone else. Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,219 Posted April 16, 2015 I love Russia. Business good there and fascinating people...Lokomotiv moving along nicely and should have far too much away from from home at FC Ula. Nice odds of 10/11 too. As for the Match bet, I fancy Norwich to work hard to keep a clean sheet. Good luck to Super Yankee and Lyn. Sure you''ll both do great....Friday will be fun.....Parma

nutty nigel 7,513 Posted April 16, 2015 Dutch Juliper League for me and a team that won in our final six last weekend. NEC have won all 17 of their home games scoring 59 goals and conceding just 12. Almere City are in tenth place and their away record is W6 D1 L10 F26 A33. NEC have obviously got the title sewn up with a 24 point lead on their nearest rivals. Almere just have half their points tally with 46 points in tenth place. It could be argued that NEC have nothing to play for but I bet they''d covet winning every home game of the season. Bill Hill''s odds of 3/10 look reasonable. NEC v Almere City Home Win For the Norwich match I''m going to suggest Halftime/Fulltime Norwich - Norwich. The Great Drinkell 50 Posted April 16, 2015 Gillingham have lost the momentum that Justin Edinburghs appointment initially had on Saturday they entertain a buoyant Rochdale side still in contention for promotion so for meGillingham v Rochdale away win.For the match bet - I have been really nervous for three home games this season, the Derby, Forest and Wolves each time AN got the team in a good place mentally - tomorrow i expect the same level of performance and predict a 3 - 0 home win.
