Saint Canary 0 Posted January 23, 2004 Twice this month other clubs have accused Norwich City FC publicly. Both the allegations were reported to the media long before the FA got informed about it. Everton Officials were quick to talk to the press about City being racist before any evidence was even looked at or listened too. Are name as a club was "tarnished" without any proper proof. Even now it has been proven there were no such chants, Everton refuse to apologise for their inner ear/hearing problem!Now Ronnie Moore is doing the same thing, he''s accusing Leon Mckenzie of spitting. He made this accusation in his post match interview and this was reported as quickly in the press as the match report. Again he should have made a complaint to the FA before shooting his mouth off on TV and in the papers! When thinking about Moore I am reminded of the old saying "People who live in glass houses, shouldn''t throw stones". Moore was the man who started the whole incident by chasing down Huckerby off the pitch, Guy Branston was the player sent of for violent conduct. Only two Rotherham stewards and Branston claim to have seen the alleged spitting, obviously no biased view at all though (ahem). Even Moore didn''t see it but he says his player would have no reason to lie, well Ronnie, how about telling a lie to get yourself out of the mess you are in? Ever thought of that one?None of the match officials saw the spitting, the video seems to show Leon didn''t spit, so 3 people saw it and the thousands of others in the stadium didn''t! Strange that.If Leon is found guilty then I will take this all back but does anyone else get the feeling that Moore is just trying to defer attentions away from his and his players wrong-doings. He hardly has anything to say about Rotherham, he hasn''t even condemned his player for pushing Mckenzie in the face. He hasn’t mentioned that Rotherham tried to kick City and particularly Huckerby of the pitch. There couldn’t have been a player in the Rotherham side who didn’t foul Hux at some point in the game, maybe Moore felt left out so that’s why he ran over to Huckerby.All in all Ronnie Moore and Everton FC you are the one’s who are tarnished, for being judge, jury and executioner for Norwich without any proof!
