Resting Players

Recommended Posts

If Bournemouth win on Monday evening does AN take a leaf out of Swindon''s book & field an alternative Xl & give some of the lads a rest in order to recharge the batteries for the play off 1st leg possible the following Friday evening? If so what would your team be? For what it''s worth here''s mine

Rudd

Bennett E, Bennett R, Cuellar, Garrido,

Howson, Vadis, Johnson, Redmond

Andre

Hooper

We feel we need to head into thr play offs on the back of a win. Anyone who has a knock probably will be rested but dont think wholesale changes will be made.

Well it''s all in black & white now, after this Saturday we have to get it right, last chance saloon, no good thinking we go ago next season.

Anyone who thinks we will hang on to most of the current squad is deluded, regardless of there collective performances, individually Ruddy, Olson, Bassong, Martin, Tetty, Johnson, Redmond & Hooper (12 goals in 15...why is he not played more?) will have mid lower premier teams queuing up to add them to there squads.

With the 3 teams dropping down having the resource''s we''ve had this season, we will struggle to improve on this seasons performances.

Fulham is a nothing game & we shouldn''t risk bookings or injury with 2 much more important games coming up, I haven''t mentioned the third game but of course if we get the first two right we have a third & most important game in the clubs history to follow. The stakes couldn''t be any higher.

These are hardly youth/reserves all are current first team players & squad members, all will probably figure in the play off squads & would benefit from match practice,
