So I''m inclined to take AN''s comment about him not being strong enough at the moment with a pinch of salt, much like his "explanation" of why Voo isn''t featuring. Wes may be small but he doesn''t get knocked off the ball that often and has an ability to ride tackles. When Andreu first cane in he looked incredibly weak and fell over repeatedly upon any kind of physical contact with opponents. Needs some serious gym time. Neil has already said we cant have players trying to adjust to the championship we need players ready for now. So no Andreu will not be starting today. We''ve seen what AN is like and know he is the real deal, but next season, with a proper pre-season under him with all his own players should fill us with enthusiasm for whatever division we are in next season. westcoastcanary 0 Posted May 2, 2015 Surman isn''t exactly difficult to knock off the ball either though Jimmy, nor are the Scottish leagues exactly full of shrinking violets and Andreu did well enough in his time up there. But I''m not disputing he needs to beef up a bit and adapt. My comment was aimed more at people who seem to be writing him off completely already. Typical of some on here I know, but it irritates me. And as it happens, Alex Neil was quoted in the paper yesterday giving a fuller explanation of why we haven''t seen more of Andreu and, as I suggested, promising we''ll definitely be seeing more of him next season.
