nutty nigel 7,509 Posted April 29, 2015 Greetings PUPsand welcome to week thirty nine, the penultimate week of this wonderful RaysFunds season. This week I get to introduce another legend because it’s DDD incharge of the final six selections. Formerly known as Delia’s DevonshireDirtbox, DDD has been with us since the very start when his posts used to keepus entertained and Ray rated him highly. Of course back then Ben lived in Devonbut still came back for some games and I was pleased to meet him on some ofthose occasions. Since then he’s moved back to Norwich and has become a friendto me and my family and a very popular member of our community in the Nelson onmatch days. DDD was also a member of our quiz team at the CSF quiz last yearand is always one of the first to support anything we do as a group. And he''s a previousfinal six winner so I believe Ben has what it takes to get us back to winningways. But to do so he will need all our help so let’s give him our very bestselections from the games played on Sat/Sun/Monof this weekend and listed on the BillHill or Bet 365 web sites. Alongside DDD,one of our longest serving PUPs, we have one of our newest recruits, JoshLinton, selecting the match bets for our game against Fulham. Thanks to ouranonymous benefactor it’s now possible for PUPs to play a more active partsooner than they would if they had to wait, for what must seem like aneternity, to get a go with the final six matches. Welcoming new PUPs is one ofthe most pleasurable parts of administrating these threads for you because theyhelp ensure the long term future of our community. So good luck with theseJosh, all us PUPs are right behind with our support. You have £6 to spend so you can choose up to six selections either from thePUPs suggestions or of your own. Anything you’re not sure of just ask andsomeone will help. And please enjoy the experience and come back to help usnext week and next season. Now I’ll hand this week’s thread over to DDD and Josh Linton. Rememberthere’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help youto success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for theCommunity Sports Foundation. Good luck allyou PUPs... Take it away Ben and Josh ... the thread is yours....... As always Ileave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :-Carve theirnames with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,4,Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3,Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,2, Cosmic Twin,3, Graham Humphrey,Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox, Lappinitup,Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC,Hughesy, Gregt, GMF,2, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, yesNorfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £950 for the Community SportsFoundation. wooster 134 Posted April 29, 2015 Good luck DDD, Josh and everyone else. The odds for a Charlton win vs a hungover Bournemouth side look very attractive at 5/1 but, as usual, I''m going for a draw at 3/1.For the Norwich bet my heart has overruled my head and I''m plumping for a 3-1 win at 11/1. nutty nigel 7,509 Posted April 30, 2015 Brilliant stuff Lessingham and DDD. I think this is another great Rays Funds story. It certainly is a small world as I found out not so long ago when talking to Yankee and it turned out that I used to work with his brother. Ray would have loved all this[:)] Talking of Facebook I haven''t linked it for a while but we do have our own Rays Funds group which is another way a lot of us keep in touch : - https://www.facebook.com/groups/124098287639888/ For my pick I''m going for a Monday game again and this time in the PL where despite Hull''s recent revival I expect Arsenal to go there and win. Leedscanary 337 Posted April 30, 2015 Good Luck Ben mate - hope to see you at some point over this weekend!LYON v Evian - HOME WINAnd for Josh, I like the look of an "insurance" bet this week - given our recent record against Fulham.FULHAM to win is 13/2 with Bet365 or 6/1 with BillyHills so good value - especially if we have one eye on the playoffs.Leedscanary
