vos 155 Posted May 16, 2015 Does anybody know if the London Underground is affected by this?. Cannot find any clarification on the Web.
Matt Juler 148 Posted May 16, 2015 It shouldn''t be, all tube lines are managed separately from Network Rail.
vos 155 Posted May 16, 2015 Thanks Matt. I did think that might be the case but not sure.
Murphy and the Bricks 0 Posted May 16, 2015 Strike DOES include the underground!!!
MarkCU65 0 Posted May 16, 2015 The strike is from 5pm on the Monday. As far as I can tell it is Network Rail only but may affect the underground at NR stations - such as Liverpool Street
TimDim 0 Posted May 16, 2015 However it is not certain that it will go ahead. Both sides are in talks this week and if it really was the intention then it would not have been announced so early ie more than the statutory 7 days
Matt Juler 148 Posted May 16, 2015 Only the very small sections of underground lines shared with National Rail services (such as the northern section of the Bakerloo line) could be affected. The core tube routes will be working as normal. As others have said, I''d be surprised if the strike isn''t called off by the end of the week.
