KeiranShikari_2 0 Posted February 21, 2015 Probably extend it at the end of the season if we do well.

im spartacus canary 0 Posted February 21, 2015 its rolling so he will always have a year to run
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 But like Lambert the option to walk away is all too easy.
? 0 Posted February 21, 2015 Stick with a rolling contract. Works in both favours, the manager gets a 12 month severance when it all goes t1ts up and City only have to pay 12 months comp! If you want to keep a good manager then you make his monthly salary something that other teams would have difficulty managing irrespective of the contract length! This also gives both parties room for negotiations should we be successful or not.
im spartacus canary 0 Posted February 21, 2015 give him an 8 year deal like pardew that should do it
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Come on Sparty I''m not suggesting that. A 3 year deal only means an extra 12 months compo on top of what he would get.12 month rolling coupled with promotion could get the poachers interested. All if''s and but''s though. Buh 0 Posted February 21, 2015 Didn''t he say he and his team would see how it goes and bring the families down if it was going well?Might be that a successful season brings a bigger deal with family stability etcEither way, contracts are kind of meaningless no matter their length.
