Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 29

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs

and welcome to week twenty nine of our Rays Funds season. This week we have Diesel

Doris in charge and making the final six selections. Trish is having a terrific

season again this time with 22/27 81% correct selections. And those selections

have produced a £5.78 profit rating. Trish is a great supporter of our threads

and I know she’d dearly like to get her name on Ray’s signature where I believe

it deserves to be. And we can help by providing our very best selection from

games played on Sat/Sun/Mon this weekend and listed on the William Hill or Bet

365 web sites.

We have NWC selecting the

Norwich match bet this week. Marcus was just too late to help me out of a

muddle last week but I really appreciated the offer and am really pleased that

he’s picking this time. NWC is another having a fantastic personal season with

77% correct picks and as you already can see another great supporter of our

threads. We can all help by giving our best suggestions for our beloved

Canaries match away to Watford on Saturday. Marcus, you have £6 to spend so you

can choose up to six selections either from the PUPs suggestions or those of

your own.

We had a blank

weekend last time but don’t get disheartened because we have had a fantastic

season and even this great team can’t win every week. We will be winning again

soon I’m sure!

Now I’ve done

the rota for the final six selections in March. Please let me know if the

following dates are ok : -

March  7 - Norfolkchance1

March 14 -

Leedscanary

March 21 - Pauls

Ferry

March 28 – The

Great Drinkell

I will be

sorting the Norwich match bet rota weekly as we try to get some of the newer

posters involved. Rays Funds belongs to all the posters on this board so if

some of you can help encourage them I’d be eternally grateful. Bringing in new

blood will freshen the threads up and also help secure our future.

Now I’ll hand

this week’s thread over to Diesel Doris & NWC. Remember there’s no pressure

because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all

stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports

Foundation.

Good luck all

you PUPs... Take it away Trish and Marcus ... the thread is yours.......[:)].........

Off to Serbia for my choice, a home win for Partizan Belgrade against Vozdovac. Partizan are top with 12 wins from 15, Vozdovac are 12th out of 16 teams.

They''ve only played each other 7 times before with Partizan winning 6, and Vozdovac winning the first one in 2005!

The odds are 1/5.

Good luck to all PUPs, especially Diesel Doris.

Celtic should dispose of hapless Hamilton at odds of 1/5.For the Norwich bet, how about a mischievous ''Bassong to score anytime'' at odds of 8/1?Or, if you''re feeling really cheeky, Norwich to win 2-1 with Bassong to score first (or last) at a ridiculous 300/1?

Nutty - I am feeling lucky so I will paypal you over another £6 to match the Norwich bet so I can (hopefully!) win more money for the CSF!As for the PUP bet, I am a bit conscious of my return percentage so I will go for an away win for Manyoo against Swansea. United are on the up at the moment, and by hook or by crook are winning games regularly - swansea are a bit pony, basically!NCFC bet to follow.....

Great to have you back on here NBS. Nothings really changed buddy. The profitability column on the league table just shows how each of us stand after starting with an imaginary pound. Its interesting for the Pups who look for value but the table is still decided by win percentage. The aim as always is to get six winning picks.

Ive received the notification. Thanks for doubling the bet NWC really hope it comes up for you.

Great to see our under 21s beat the billionaire''s under 21s tonight. Many of our side including the 2 goal scorers were helped through the ranks with the money raised on these threads. Even though we now raise the money for the CSF I still feel a real affinity with our academy players.

Birmingham have drawn 5 of their last 6 games and are away to a struggling Brighton side, managed by Chris Hughton. Can see this being a draw.

Norwich bet - more than 2.5 goals in this game.

Welcome Suffolk Canary. Great to have you on board. I''m sure Diesel and NWC are as grateful for your help as I am.

I feel like I''m putting a bit of pressure on you as you''ve only just joined but I was hoping you''d make the Norwich picks for us for the game at Millwall on March 7th. This entails considering the PUPs suggestions on that week''s thread and then picking up to six of them along with your own on the Friday evening. Really hope you can and I know our PUPs will support you all the way.

Colchester v BRISTOL CITY - Away win@5/6.
Having a real poor run, tried to tip a cold cup of coffee down the sink this morning and missed....
For the Norwich bet, how about a Norwich win with both teams to score at 15/4?

In the Czech league Viktoria Plzen should be too strong for Ceske. Viktoria are top of the league, with Ceske towards the bottom.Best of luck all.NCFC bet, I fancy a high scoring game, so 2-2 perhaos.

I''m going to France for my pick this weekend. Lyon''s top with a great home record should be too good for a faltering Nantes. 6/10 odds look generous to me so maybe I''m missing something?

Lyon          v          Nantes          Home Win

For the Norwich bet how about a draw with both teams to score.
