How do you do your Derby?

For me the tension is to much. I have a bottle of JD to get stuck into. I will be completely w@nk@red when I get to the Carra.

I really admire any fan that can stand it stone cold sober!

Travel up to city from north norfolk at around 9.30 - 10 am find a full English (min 7 items) Beer in the Murderers then down to riverside few more beers & let the tension build, love that knotted stomach feeling of nerves (or the breakfast!!!) starting to kick in, have a good old shout at the scum as they are escorted past, then one more in the Holiday Inn before kick off, Happy days, finally the satisfactory feeling walking away from FCR 3pts tucked neatly in the back pocket. Can''t wait!! I''m in my late 50s but it still feels great to turn them lot over

I get up early, have a bacon sandwich, start drinking, wander down to the Barclay Stand about 11:30 with a walking stick I don''t need, but take to defend myself against the united forces of Bin (it has a razor blade in the end) and have a lucky pre-match piss in the Barclay C block concourse toilets.
Then it''s up the old steps, On the Ball City, and ninety minutes of fear and exhilaration.
