Making Plans 957 Posted March 1, 2015 After we go up automatically, would love to see 1p5wich go up via the play-offs.Six easy points next season, 20th position and one relegation slot accounted for
mrs miggins 0 Posted March 1, 2015 Although that sounds good. Surely another season for them in the championship would be better? Would that then be their 11th consecutive season in this league?Although they would most likely come back down, they''d still have the money from the PL which is getting even bigger...No, i''d rather see them dying in this godforsaken league. Paul101 190 Posted March 1, 2015 no no no no wish nothing but misery or saying that not even that on them wish nothing but midtable never doing anything last thing I want is them to ever get any real money but to just slowly rot and decay
FenwayFrank 2,715 Posted March 1, 2015 Mrs M , I think they''re currently on their thirteenth year in this division
Move Klose 303 Posted March 1, 2015 They wont go up. Wolves and brentford will finish ahead of them.
Rasputin was a C... 0 Posted March 1, 2015 If they did make it up to the Prem for their one season in the sun, I could then see them dropping back down and experiencing a similar situation to that of Blackpool. Owner who is merely in it to line his own pockets. Could be fun... for some.

Lessingham Canary 108 Posted March 1, 2015 With the play off final worth over £50 million, wuldnt want them to waste that money as well, let them stay where they are.
Shyster 0 Posted March 1, 2015 I''d rather wake up with ''miggins'' political beliefs than see Ipsh*t promoted. You know, after a lobotomy.
mrs miggins 0 Posted March 1, 2015 Shock horror, Shyster trying to start an argument. You support UKip, therefore you don''t have a leg to stand on.
Mr Jenkins 0 Posted March 1, 2015 It would be a travesty if they went up at the expence of a football team.

Chesney Hawkes 0 Posted March 1, 2015 I have to say, I hope they go into administration, get fined and get relegated, sell all their "best" players, and start the next season with a 15 point penalty and a home defeat to Peterborough.

GenerationA47 863 Posted March 1, 2015 The partisan stattos amongst us might agree with the desirability of them coming up with us: Just 2 more wins against them next season, and we''ll be level on (post-war competitive) head-to-head wins v losses for the first time for 60 years!Usually ancient lore is TWTD''s specialism... but a brief history of crime, for those who care:1993 - high tide mark for Ippo as we slip to 9 more losses than wins in the all-time stakes1975 - last time we were only 2 wins behind, as today.1956 - last time the two clubs were equal on wins vs losses1952 - last time City were in the ascendancy, with 1 more win over Ippo than losses1947 - high tide mark for City, 3 wins for us in our first 3 post-war matches. So, all to play for if we go up and the waste disposal executives somehow scrape promotion! Surfer 1,547 Posted March 2, 2015 I would like to see them promoted I really would, East Anglia deserves two teams in the top division. But if that other team were Peterborough or Cambridge or Colchester I''d be equally content ... but as that isn''t going to happen who do you want to get promoted in addition to us this year? For me, Derby and Forest.
Gingerpele 0 Posted March 2, 2015 I do genuinely think we should be in the same league as our rivals. When we were in the PL, I couldn''t care less what was happening with Ipswich. Its the actual games that make it count. And hoping for the small chance of meeting in the cup just isn''t enough... I''d actually fine with them getting a little success if it mean''t a PL derby. When did that last happen?
Surfer 1,547 Posted March 2, 2015 In the Premier League - 1992 - 1993 we lost 2-0 at home and 3-1 away1993 - 1994 we won 1-0 at home and lost 2-1 away1994 - 1995 we won 2-0 at home and 3-0 awayFour teams relegated that year, Ipswich were bottom with 27 points, we had 43 points - three points off safety - that was the season we only won 1 of our last 20 games after being 7th at XMAS :-(
OldRobert 38 Posted March 2, 2015 I don''t. They can rot in the Championship for all I care, or drop down further.[H]
