TimDim 0 Posted March 1, 2015 It looked awful today. Are we playing too many games on it. It can''t be the weather as this winter was reasonably mild.

thas norfolk 0 Posted March 1, 2015 Turning those sprinklers on and flooding the pitch at 2o''clock probably didn''t help
AJ 1,218 Posted March 1, 2015 Who cares?! If we get 3 points each week I couldn''t care less. Maybe it was tactical to make the surface difficult for the opposition
Lessingham Canary 99 Posted March 1, 2015 should have been relaid last summer and wasn''t, not sure reason for not doing it, once players had warmed up it looked very poor.
TimDim 0 Posted March 1, 2015 It looked a bit ropey against Wolves. I expect it will be completely relaid in the summer for the PL. Maybe there is a club nearby who haven''t much in the way of money who might be grateful for it.
Mr Jenkins 0 Posted March 1, 2015 I thought it was a mixture of grass and artificial playing surface that didn''t need to be relaid?
Norfolk Mustard 94 Posted March 1, 2015 I just picked my son up from the train station and all the Carrow road floodlights were still on! Maybe they''re working on the playing surface ready for Wednesday?
YankeeCanary 0 Posted March 1, 2015 There was also criticism of the pitch at Anfield today and I heard the same comment at one of the Premier games yesterday. Perhaps the groundhogs are into some unusual activity below.
Shyster 0 Posted March 1, 2015 Such is the state of the present game and football fans in general, they feel the need to question & bemoan a playing surface that resembles many village bowling greens.
mrs miggins 0 Posted March 1, 2015 it''s alright, hardly Blackpool standards is it.
DundeeFc 0 Posted March 1, 2015 talking about the pitch lol you won a game on it .is this what happens in England
? 0 Posted March 1, 2015 Shyster, it is pretty obvious that this seasons pitch is no where near as good as it has been in recent seasons, and the debate was to ask why?
DundeeFc 0 Posted March 1, 2015 you need a 4g pitch andreu might get a game lol

Nor is questioning why it looks so bad this season anything to do with the state of football or fans in general. Nor is it trying to attribute any form of failing towards the club. This question has been raised elsewhere, and also in regard to other clubs. If you have nothing constructive to contribute why not post on threads where your sort of antagonistic remarks are welcome. Must be ''man-made'' global warming - should''ve put a fu*king great wind turbine in the infill instead of the Inn [:D]

I watched the Football League Show on Saturday night and was struck by how poor - much worse than Carrow Road - many of the Championship pitches were. nutty nigel 7,509 Posted March 2, 2015 With the amount of s**t played on it I reckon portman road must be the best....
Murphy and the Bricks 0 Posted March 2, 2015 The pitch is relayed every season. The fact that the number of heat lamps used has decreased significantly this season maybe a reason also the number of games have increased.

I doubt if anyone seriously thinks our promotion prospects have suffered.

SwindonCanary 455 Posted March 2, 2015 The club were saying that it created an identical pitch to Carrow Road at Colney, I wonder what that one''s looking like ?
barclaystand 0 Posted March 2, 2015 I guess it''ll be looking better as it won''t have the stands casting bloody great shadows over it every day.
Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted March 2, 2015 I remember the pitches in the 1970''s. They should be brought back for the EPL to level the playing field so to speak.
