Tetteys Jig 830 Posted March 4, 2015 Worried about Watford now but less so Derby. Watford are in immense form and if we slip up once, they could be hard to peg back again. Goal difference could be big this season so lucky we beat them 3-0 twice.
pete 319 Posted March 4, 2015 I''m not so sure you can call 3-0 a lucky result.
Crabbycanary3 994 Posted March 4, 2015 Watford didn''t have a sniff against us Jimmy! Lucky it certainly wasn''tIf Bournemouth get some form back, their games could work for them alsoAs always, it''s all about us BRING IT ON!!
Tumbleweed 106 Posted March 4, 2015 Assuming we win the next two, then if we beat both Boro and Derby at our place it will be very difficult for anyone to catch us especially as they are all going to be taking points off each other, so looking quite promising. And maybe the Forest game is not quite so tricky either with their defeat last night and probably too far back to really be incentivised for the play offs either. ncfcstar 291 Posted March 4, 2015 The next two for us are massive, and will reveal if there is any complacency in the squad. Winning the next two is more important to our season than any of the games after it in my opinion. It will send a big message out to the rest of the league that we mean business. GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,749 Posted March 7, 2015 sooner or later the maths will work itself out and teams will start pulling away when the top sides play each other.......however ,having said that, in any "normal" season we''d probably only have to be winning 3 of the last ten to get a playoff place.....we may need to win 6/7 just to be guaranteed of that ?! Funny old game 0 Posted March 7, 2015 Pontificate all you want about our remaining fixtures and those of our rivals. Pointless really though as our only defeat in eight was against a team nailed on for relegation! Tired old cliche I know but just worry about our own results and the rest will take care of themselves. There are so many results in this league where form goes out of the window that the only thing you can predict with any certainty is unpredictability.
Branston Pickle 3,657 Posted March 7, 2015 ....just what is this board for if it isn''t to pontificate about these things?! It is certainly interesting that some sides seem to have a lot of these ''big'' games remaining, but it can often be what you do against the lesser sides that makes the difference. The long and short is that if we look after our own results we should be in the top two.
93vintage 16 Posted March 7, 2015 It''s so tight that we probably cannot afford to lose any more games and need to win six or seven. Quite a few are saying the autos could go down to the wire, I would think at least one place will remain up for grabs on the final day.

York Canary 28 Posted March 15, 2015 Think Bournemouth and Watford will win most of their games. Expecting Boro and Derby to drop points. Horrible feeling that dropping points against Wigan and Derby will cost us and we we''ll end up 3rd/4th. Hopefully next 9 games prove me wrong and we''re sitting in the top 2 after another incredible winning run..
mrs miggins 0 Posted March 17, 2015 We can still get into the top two, just need to force the issue more in our games whilst the others scrap it out against each other.

Canary Jedi 579 Posted March 18, 2015 This looks like a positive situation for us. If only we had to worry about the top 8 sides! After last night it''s obvously not that easy. I''m also interested to see Forest''s run in, they have been one of the form teams and could make the play-offs.
Surfer 1,547 Posted March 20, 2015 I had though of adding Forest and Sheff W to the "top x" list as they were both on good runs at the time, but decided they were too far off the pace.. however it''s:-Forest (57)Norwich (A), Wolves (H), Brentford (A), Watford (H),Ipswich (A)So Forest could be playing an important part here... Rich T The Biscuit 562 Posted April 4, 2015 One thing it does show is that we have to beat Middlesbrough to ensure Top 2.Not fancying our trip away to Leeds either, yes they have nothing to play for but the manager wants the job permanently and there''s no love lost between them and us.
