Fabian Wilnes on Soccer AM

Recommended Posts

Just (finally) caught the weekends show on video, and had to listen to Wilnes chatting to Tim and Helen. Helen asked who would win Div 1. He replied smuggly and confidently "We will!". Looks like the binners are heading long ball with the goat up front, hopefully this will backfire!

I hope we keep the run going and force him to eat those words.

Don''t worry about the Goat, he turned down a move to Portaloo yesterday.

I honestly think that while they''ve got people who''ll score...their big problem is at the back. They are leaking goals left, right and centre. On another day letting Crewe score 4 at your place could have spelled disaster for the binners. If they don''t shore up their defence, I think they will start to drop away as the season reaches its climax.

Yeah he was still probably dreaming after all was 2 hours late.

The most frightening thing was the manic Keet O''Neill, blew any chance of being a Sky reprter big time, but won £50 off Eric Bristow by predicting Brad City would beat Canaries, not a bad prediction but no loyalty there, if we hadnt given him a chance he would still be pulling pints of Guiness in the Emerald Isle, not the most talented, but oh what a gob!

Take away the ''penalties'' from Ipswich and there is little between them and Norwich in free play. As you say the big problem for them is the fact that only three clubs have conceeded more goals.
Wilnes is just part of the Ipswich culture that has an over rated opinion of itself. I''m sure Mr. Sheepshank thinks he is a financial wizard and fat Joe considers any points dropped by ITFC are because:
The ref made bad decisions
The dirty opposition players cheated
Ipswich are the only team to have an injured player
Clive Woods was sold to Norwich
The grass was green
etc
etc
