Well, since Fraser the Eraser or Connor the Goner swung the axe on Non-Football, I thought I'd restart the travel thread and label it as O/T (off-topic). What are your travel plans for next year? Not looking too promising at my end, but it's immigration to Germany and getting settled in. We (Miss TGS and myself) have plonked in a long weekend in late April next year in a region of Germany she doesn't know, but I do, namely the Spreewald. A landscape which German writer Theodor Fontane described as "Venice, 1500 years ago".
