Gone from some whispers on the grapevine to the Pink'Un now reporting that he's visited Norwich, met with staff and been given a tour so does seem like he's all set to sign for us. Now, it's fair to say he has experience, is English so counts as homegrown, is rather big strong and physical which is something we need.. But at the same time he has been said to be on around 40 to 50 grand a week at Burnley and is turning 34 this year. Cant be the only one who feels that this does feel not exactly like our typical Webber signing? Nevermind his record this season being 7 goals in 43, which if he is coming in to be our first choice.. Quite the interesting situation we have here to say the least Only thing that gives me any kind of hope and is something I agree with (Even if it's not exactly a good indicator for what Wagner thinks of our current squad) is the following..
