Haven't given up on the Premier League yet, but according to the Pinkun front page there have been no contract talks. I suspect he will be off.

Your favourite derby moments?
Capt. Pants replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Many good memories and some not so good. I fear some of younger fans might struggle to cope should be lose Saturday. For me the standout ones: Brucie's winner. 1-5 Bradley's sledgehammer "Going Up, Going Down" -
We shall see but we're going to struggle to fill the bench assuming Sorensen out. Long, Fisher, Batth, Montoia, Aboh, SVH, Gibbs, Fassnacht, ??? Presumably Welch or Lima The play-off semi final is May 12th. JR is going to have to be risked at some point soon, as only 5 games left after the bins have gone.

I do hope so. Bring it on. Just like the good old days. -
White House Lane, Trowse

At the CH roundabout It currently says the road is closed at Mustard Way junction so I'm not sure you can access White Horse Lane from there. -

So what's your prediction then? Just going to sit on the fence and slag off City fans? -

A draw for us would not be a disaster as it takes us 5pts ahead of Coventry aka 2 wins. They play Leeds next. We have to be much better than we were at Leicester and that in itself shouldn't be difficult. I don't see any change to our usual approach at home, but we know we will gift them chances. I have concern over our fitness levels with Duffy likely to play and looks way off, Sargent still managing his non matchday efforts, Nunez not looking that sharp either since his injury/effort with Chile. Gnats **** tight this one. Just wish we had more players to call upon. -

Yes https://cseandbpc.wixsite.com/cseandbpc/post/temporary-closure-of-white-horse-lane-2nd-to-14th-april-2024 Could be longer. -
Really depends on if Knapper wants to trade on him or not. There's also the small matter of him being pissed off by Webber's comments. Have the club done enough to placate him? We definitely need an upgrade on Onel so would be good to see what he has to offer in pre-season.

Brighton - A Formula to Copy
Capt. Pants replied to Michael Starr's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
No guarantee Attanasio might not do similar in the future. If it's an investment then he has the right to make a return on it, as painful as that might be for the fans. -
Should have had it this season. The legacy of them overspending in the EPL is that they have a massively strong squad and are effectively buying themselves a promotion. They won't give a stuff about a 6pts deduction.

All those saying Leicester are a top team
Capt. Pants replied to TheBaldOne66's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It wouldn't be a disaster should we lose, although it might well be for them. The challenge will be how our fans rise above it if we do lose. Our support for Wagner is tenuous at times. He really can't afford to lose this one as I'm not sure he carries the fans. Regardless of the result we need to leave everything on the pitch. Hopefully yesterday was about keeping a bit in reserve for this massive game. -

If we beat them then I think they will finish 3rd. Our best chance of getting to Wembley is against them as I can't see us beating Leeds or Leicester over 2 legs. -

They have more off the bench options than us right now though. We only have Gibbs and Fassnacht as attacking options. -
4th and 5th are now settled, possibly 8th and 9th too. The games are running out. It's a shame about the Sorensen injury what with Duffy ring rusty, Hanley in 'rehab'. So a play-off semi against Ipswich, Leeds or Leicester. Still all to play for top 2. Southampton and WBA can now plan for the play-offs and start practicing penalties...

Other results keep going our way. I think it's between us and Coventry now, Hull have forgotten how to win a game. 3 more wins should do it as I can't see Coventry winning more than 4.

So what’s the deal with Sydney?
Capt. Pants replied to S_81's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It seems to becoming pretty obvious Wagner did have a say and didn’t want SVH in place of Idah. Why this all happened anyway and why Knapper pushed it through, who knows. How else do you explain SVH not getting seconds on the pitch? -

No, it won't be acceptable by any stretch of the imagination. -

Different manager or not I really hope we are not signing SVH. -

Leeds 3 Hull 1 Season over for them now. An incompetent manager, who will probably be sacked now. -

Still think Leicester will bottle it. They should have had a points deduction this season. -

If McKenna has his head screwed on he won't announce anything about the fitness of Moore, in which case we won't know until the teams are announced. That means Duffy has to start really with Gibbo. You can't play McLean there as Moore will just put himself up against McLean. I hate watching Duffy and Gibbo playing out from the back.
