  1. Given the discussion has moved to Idah v Hwang I think that says all you need to know about the fan's view on SVH. He seems a bit of a non event. Wagner seems to feel the same way.
  2. It's really frustrating that both Hwang and Idah have left us just when they were starting to be of considerable use. I don't care which one is better out of Hwang and SVH. We started the season with Sargent, Barnes, Idah and Hwang. Now look at us.
  3. Draw Coventry win Hull win Regardless, at least one team will be 1 point closer to us. However it's starting to look as though it won't really matter. Very much in our own hands.
  4. I think it very much does depend on what league we are in and who the Head Coach is. It doesn't bode well we failed to strengthen the squad in January and that was when we were on the cusp of the play-offs. We've feared players leaving before but it hasn't happened in large numbers but then we weren't carrying as much debt. Impossible ro call at this stage.
  5. Everton, a grubby club that plays horrible football. West Ham largely similar a nothing club to watch. Sheff Utd dislikeable on so many levels. Forest and Liverpool to a lesser degree.
  6. Otherthan Walker England lacks world class defenders. An embarrassment of riches in attacking positions, embarrassing in others. A systemic issue or just fate? Palmer is an incredible player. Ironically Man City could well end up buying him back one day.
  7. Yeah part of my 'childhood' when I watched cricket intently. Unplayable at times in the right conditions. RIP
  8. Rowe isn't going to stay here to play off the bench, the club may also want him in the shop window. That said we're probably one more game away from him starting, when Sara will move inside but not in Barnes' position. It's a nice problem to have to be fair.
  9. We have to push for 5th really. I think the trouble is if you rest players that can cause more problems than it solves. Momentum is key going into the play-offs.
  10. I'm not sure supporters want a root and branch rebuild, certainly not those paying good money to watch it. If we don't up then expectations will be high, especially if that lot down the road do. I can't see the fans putting up with a pretty much whole new squad, a new Head Coach and being told it's a 3 year plan be patient. As sensible as that may sound the reality is it won't wash in football the fans aren't patient. If Knapper has any sense he'll persevere with Wagner. He doesn't have the know how or experience to mastermind a rebuild.
  11. I'm just relieved we got SVH instead...
  12. For the OP, I guess attendance may have been slightly down because Preston isn't actually that easy to get to direct from Norwich. Also Easter school holidays have come to a close so that may have impact some. Had it been at the start of the holidays, or in the middle, then a trip away with a couple of days in a nice part of the country may have appealed to some. Also back to back up north away games challenges the old coffers for many I'd guess. PS Can we have a separate pinned thread for Essex to vent his whines and gripes and for his 'chasers' to reply as they see fit so I don't have to trawl through this nonsense? It's starting again and is a waste of electricity.
  13. I read negative comments about McCallum and Stacey. Fair enough but people need to remind themselves this is NCFC so had those players been totally perfect, well they wouldn't be here in the first place. I'd happily keep Sam and Dimi for our current style and set up.
  14. Didn't see the game but what the hell was their keeper doing? Looks like he pulled his hand away to let the ball in!
  15. Can't see us not getting to the play-offs now. Even if we mess up those behind us are shot. Just a case of who would you rather play? Binners looking good for autos, probably no need to win a game. Quite fancy our chances against Leeds, probably Leicester ad well.
  16. Unless you're prepared to go to Wembley regardless of the opposition then there isn't much point in getting to the playoffs. This is our best chance of promotion but we have to make it stick. Farke will be gone if Leeds don't get promoted, our best best players will be gone if we don't. The harsh reality of Championship football.
  17. Can't see him being here next season. If the price is right we'll sell.
  18. Were in the play-offs but against who?
  19. Not watching today as out with the lads. Seems we are bare bones now. Would take a point but not hopeful. Feel we will have to gamble either on either Sargent or Rowe scoring or SVH showing something.
  20. We played into their hands that game giving their wingers all the space they needed. No one got close to Winks either. It will be no different in the play-offs you would imagine.
  21. If Leicester beat us in the play-offs with players they couldn't afford I won't give a sh1t what points deduction they get. They'll also get £150m TV money, we'll probably need to sell our best players. But as long as Ipswich don't go up...
  22. And a loan to Celtic. Don't think he or is agent hasn’t made a bit of money out of that. Just wish NCFC had been stronger on this.
  23. Looking like Leicester in the play-offs then!
  24. As far as I'm concerned Leicester should have had a points deduction for this season. Deserve all they get, especially if it's nothing.
