Couldn't really see the true affect from the Upper Barclay, but looked good. I thought I saw coloured smoke coming out from under the giant flag, did someone light a flare? I bet it was good to breath that in.

Credit Players, Fans, Management..
Capt. Pants replied to hogesar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I honestly feel the fans got an extra 10% if not more out of the players. To get a clean sheet out of Ipswich is no mean feat. We defended better in the 2nd half than we attacked, but you have to do that sometimes to win tight football matches. I was very surprised at the intensity of our suuport, as the Ipswich fans seemed to be. -
Best atmosphere since Covid…
Capt. Pants replied to nutty nigel's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Best atmosphere sine Man City. Absolutely rocking. First time for a long while that I've been totally engaged from minute 1 to minute 95. Our fanbase is desperate to get behind something. It seems a long while. Who knows how our season will end, and all we can do is win our games. -

Ricardo's report v 1p5wich Town
Capt. Pants replied to ricardo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I was surprised how poor Ipswich were. Plymouth were comfortably better and had more noisier fans. Carrow Rd rocked. -
If Leeds and Leicester fail to capitalise now
Capt. Pants replied to JonnyJonnyRowe's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Couldn't give a **** what Leeds and Leicester do. All we can do is win our games. Beating the Binners is more than enough for me. Farke will be sacked if he fails to get that Leeds squad promoted, and rightly so. -
Still going. Absolutely slaughtered, but it's worth it What a day.

100% the fans got us over the line today. Haven't seen this atmosphere since 2018/19. Great effort from the players but we had a clear red card denied and should have won more comfortably. How ordinary were Ipswich? How quiet were their fans? -
Cov lead… and other games
Capt. Pants replied to Creedence Clearwater Couto's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
We will struggle not to finish at least 6th. Twists and turns to come yet. -
Our fans have had a lot of stick on here throughout the season. Fcuk did we turn up today. Binners totally overawed and the players responded accordingly. Incredible atmosphere won the game.

Haha, know what you nean. Reflection on the previous game is usually item 1 on our discussion agenda. Followed by 'apologies for absence', which is usually our defence!

I suspect a few will be here already. Not everyone wears blue...

Derby day predictions
Capt. Pants replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I just hope we have a go and none of this negative sitting back nonsense that Wagner sometimes goes for. Can't call this one. I don't think either side is good enough to keep a clean sheet, likewise I think we'll need at least 2 goals to win the game. Wish we had more options off the bench like they have. -
Will the flags be out in the Barclay?
Capt. Pants replied to Harry53's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Wonder if Sky will have the flame throwers out? Will be interesting in a 45 mile an hour wind. Could singe a few eyebrows. -
Illness In The Ipswich Camp
Capt. Pants replied to Midlands Yellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
What's the latest on Keiffer Moore? Do we need to pick Duffy and Gibson just in case? I wouldn't mind Kenny at CB, but you just know Moore will put himself up against KM. Could get messy. -
Illness In The Ipswich Camp
Capt. Pants replied to Midlands Yellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Well it certainly won't affect our team selection - we've got sod all to pick from. If I bring my boots, I might make the bench. -
Simon Milton In Lion & Castle Pre Match, WTF ?
Capt. Pants replied to TIL 1010's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I had to Google him, he's 60. Am I missing something? If anyone from The Barclay fancies a scrap I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities away from the ground. -
I don't go to that many but saw The Stranglers a couple of weeks back at Cambridge Corno, still great live. Before that it was PiL at the UEA, not sure if I enjoyed them or not. Last Feb I saw Inhaler at UEA. I was probably the oldest there but they were pretty good tbh.

Indeed. I think he's heading up hill Jarrolds way. Good to see he's wearing the club shop.

So would I. Most of our bench have little or no chance of making the pitch and/or being of any use if they do get on, so may as well put JR there.
