Wouldn't it be nice if...
Capt. Pants replied to littleyellowbirdie's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It remains unclear if 5th or 6th is better. We'll have more idea after the weekend when one of the top 2 will probably have been sorted. You'd fancy Leeds now for 2nd as Southampton will probably rest players for the final game of the season and/or be pulling out of challenges. -
Swansea predictions
Capt. Pants replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It will be interesting to see how we approach this game. Will we go all out for the win, or will it be a more pragmatic Wagnerlike approach? We conceded quite a few chanced against Bristol and it's just as well Gunn was to the rescue. Can see this being a nervy 1-0 or 2-1 to us, but I also fear another twist in this bonkers league, and you never know with Norwich! -

Yeah I think we missed our opportunity to get 5th. WBA will do all they can to retain it. A play-off semi against the Binners more likely now. -
If this group gets us promoted
Capt. Pants replied to JonnyJonnyRowe's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I wouldn't bet on that. Idah is 10 times better than that waste of space SVH -
Leeds away to QPR on Friday. If they win that it really piles the pressure on Leicester and Ipswich. You'd fancy Binners to be 3rd now and our best chance of reaching Wembley is if we're 6th. Twists and turns to come yet. It's be a bonkers season in all competitions. We just need to look after ourselves, and a bit better than we did against Bristol.

Binners in tears

Bloody close but Sarge's arm might be playing him on. Sainz might just be level by why on earth did he not be a good foot behind Sarge? On a VAR day we may well have been disappointed by both decisions.

Wow at the split second the pass was hit he's clearly onside. The lines are pointless if they are not at the precise split second when there was contact with the ball.

Could we relegate Birmingham?
Capt. Pants replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Birmingham could be relegated even before they play us if they lose against Huddersfield and Sheff Wed beat WBA. -
Forest have had enough
Capt. Pants replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Never mind I'm sure if Forest are relegated they'll find another £200m to buy a promotion. Total lack of class from a team who have failed to push on this season. Get what they deserve. -
Agreed on the Hull perspective, they will have been delighted to see Coventry players exhausted having already had an extra day's rest as well. If we can't do enough in our remaining games then we don't deserve top 6. The important thing is carrying momentum I to the play-offs. I think we'll be fine and couldn't care less really what other teams do.

Forest have had enough
Capt. Pants replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I'm struggling to find sympathy with Forest after the money they've sprayed around. -
I'd take a play-off final victory over the nation's favourite Ipswich on the exact same basis though 😉

He won't be there next season. His players looked embarrassed to have won.
-
And also the farce that Onana was booked twice yet doesn't get sent off and doesn't even miss the final.
-
Can't see them picking themselves up for that. A Hull win incoming now.
-
I fcukin hate Man Utd.
-
Spawny Man Utd absolute disgrace. Hope Citeh smash them in the final.
-
To be fair VAR ruled twice on favour of Coventry.
-
Hopefully they will still have a bit of fire in the belly for when they play Ipswich.

Well I For One Would Not Have Recognised Him.

Did you expect him to still have long hair? -
We looked knackered yesterday.
