1. A1 wrote; The ''galactico'' mangers also have very specific ways of playing that they change for no-one. Pep, Klopp, Wenger... they have ONE way of playing, and if players don''t adhere to it they''re out. Could it be that when you are Pep you can get exactly what you want, money no object, to deliver ''YOUR WAY''... but in the Champ, you don''t have that luxury to get what you want so you can''t have it your way very often? I have to disagree here. Conte at Chelsea was on bad run of form culminating in a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal. He saw the problem and rectified by going with a 3-4-3 formation and since then has gone unbeaten in 6 with zero goals conceded! I think this type of adaptability is what makes a great manager, the ability to identify the weakness but more importantly do something about it. With our current manager the weakness is all to apparent but he is unable to rectify it. It seems he is out of his depth.
2. Thanks Parma, it does make you think that we are not all singing from the same hymn sheet, doesn''t it.
3. We put a £20m price tag on Brady which it seems was too much for teams to pay for him.

He was prepared to come here.
5. http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/crystal-palace-cancel-dwight-gayle-norwich/story-27716894-detail/story.html Certainly looks like he was willing to come here doesn''t it?
6. So now you mock Bethnal, one of the more insightful and accurate posters who used to post here? I wonder why he has been absent recently?
7. Morty, according to Bethnal a deal was in place with Palace for him to come here only for Palace to fail to find a replacement, so yes, he was willing to come here!
8. Parma wrote this; Developing a coherent philosophy, Company structure, consistent coaching methodology throughout all club age groups, a pattern of play is indeed highly desirable. So parma can you explain to me that if you want a consistent model throughout the club the Development Squad play a two up front formation and the first team always stick to one? A lack of consistency there is plain to see so do we have that ''coherent philosophy''?
9. Glad to be of assistance! There was an emoji next to the comment to indicate it was tounge in cheek but ok Morty, whatever!
10. Iirc, most people welcomed him with cautious optimism, and after the Bournemouth game seemed to get on side. To say we thought he was the next Fergie is a little misplaced, but he is Scottish!
11.
My point is, that despite our shocking run, we are still only 3 wins off 2nd.
But you do realise that does mean three corresponding defeats from Brighton and none of the teams above us win?😆
12.

Me thinks we have a ''happy'' troll in our midst!
Labelled a troll for showing optimism. Top work Ron.
You really think that dear Mr footy is a genuine City fan?Top work!
13. Would Ryan fit into our ethos of being a family club?😉
14. Duncan, come on, Ricky is to important a cog in the development of the youff! The board are secretly hoping Hucks steps forward but to me he''s got to much nouse to take on the poisoned chalice.
15. Hank, I''m confused. (Easily done I will admit). You seem to be saying that the defence is carp and its down to individual errors and performance. I agree. You seem to be intimating that this is down to poor management, again I agree. But to say that our defenders would walk into any top six sides I''m sorry, there we disagree. The defence has been appalling for the last four seasons, hell, that back four today was around when we were relegated under Adams! The only good addition to it was Klose, although recent form has not been good. I think basically we agree, the defence is carp, the manager is carp and we need to do something about it!
16. Hank, you said that many would get into a top six side. I disagree, as does Syn, they are playing to the best of their ability, which isn''t very good. Every player reaches a point in his career when he can''t do what he once did, Martin and Gassing being two obvious examples with Olsson not far behind! We are suffering now due to the failure to address this issue in the past transfer windows.
17. BTW Bournemouth didn''t stick with Eddie Howe, he''s had nothing but success since he went back. He failed at Burnley mind, so they aren''t the shining example either.
18. Well I can''t argue with those facts obviously but in all honesty do you think AN can turn this around and get us close to going up? I think the autos are going to be beyond us now and the playoffs at the moment are looking doubtful. 1 point from a possible 15 and except Brighton all those games were against teams below us. 5 goals for 13 against, 2 games at home 3 away.
19. I''ll go with your optimism then!!! Get him in!😁
