  1. Good result for Scotland especially since it was Gilbrator 0 Wales 0 today.
  2. Nothing to see here. Adam basically said as he started to play more and more and thought he was doing well he was seeing criticism from the fans and was a bit bewildered.
  3. We need to remind ourselves of this party. https://www.loonyparty.com/
  4. There is always the option to spoil your ballot.
  5. All the Scottish leaders are debating on BBC One Scotland next Tuesday. Including the Greens, but not Alba. Greens having brought in a temporary scrapping of peak rail fares. If you can find the channel and take the constant use of the words Scotland and Independence it might be different.
  6. https://www.cambridgeindependent.co.uk/sport/new-city-boss-not-planning-to-hang-up-boots-9367141/ Now Cambridge manager basically full time, but still will allow himself to play. When needed.
  7. It's the number of spoilt ballets that surprise me, but they come in at about 1.3% so I guess ok.
  8. I'm interested in attending a count and wonder if anyone ever has. Initial research basically gives nothing in regards to this probably to discourage it, but it looks like you email the election office/returning officier for anything so probably will do that.
  9. I remember all the happiness in the air and the crowds coming out to celebrate the procession of cars to the palace and No 10.
  10. Surely being the centre ground these days means you want to nationalise the detention centres?
  11. One of the problems brexit caused was a political exodus of MP's in goverment positions as they fell left right and center through getting the referendum, fighting over it and then mass internal and cross-party in fighting with the result of it. You're never going to have an efficient or coherent direction after all that disruption. Then add pandemics and war. Tories let Labour in and go away and reset and sort yourselves out. Mind only one Labour goverment ever won a 2nd term.
  12. Outside of DNA tests I think my dad has already having done a lot of research of the family tree, but reading this tale it certaintly can be interesting https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/article/2024/jun/01/no-one-wants-a-nazi-in-their-family-a-german-prisoner-of-war-a-secret-affair-and-the-mystery-of-my-dads-parentage
  13. William Rennie https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/politics/scottish-politics/2372938/oor-willie-14-of-the-wackiest-willie-rennie-photo-stunts/
  14. I wasn't brave enough to put it in the title. Although it's mainly aiming at lewd behaviour and appearances it does strech to this "The bylaws also prohibit going shirtless or in a bikini in areas away from the beach, a ban that was introduced several years ago in Barcelona to little effect as offenders are mainly tourists who fly home without paying the fines." I'd have them pay the fine as a condition of re-entry to the country should they return
  15. He had to put down the left and has done well quite well except for areas. They of course will never go away and smell power. As I've said before. Starmer will get them power and they will throw him under the bus.
  16. Only the best guardian articles brought to you here! https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/may/30/costa-brava-town-bans-penis-suits-sex-dolls-stag-hen-dos
  17. While a story for another time at this moment all Sinn Fein count for is what number of MPS will be required for a majority.
  18. "HM Revenue and Customs has confirmed that Angela Rayner owes no capital gains tax for the sale of her former council house and that no further action will be taken, according to a document seen by the Guardian. The tax authority said two weeks ago it had considered the evidence and had concluded the house in Stockport was the Labour deputy leader’s principal residence the whole time she owned it, meaning no tax would be due."
  19. To use the GE to further their own cause regardless of where the votes go and come across as spiteful in effect.
  20. https://www.theguardian.com/society/article/2024/may/29/junior-doctors-strike-england-june Doctors to strike in week before GE. Interfering with the democratic process in my opinion.
  21. BBC election coverage team https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cv22px91700o
  22. One problem is Celtic are a better team and win so anyone associated with Rangers will be under pressure so his football might be individually good enough, but overall the team is not good enough.
