That’s fair enough, it’s more I can’t believe there aren’t thousands living local to FCR to snap up the tickets for such a big game. I am a distance traveller as well ( Birmingham ) and have to admit because of last season and the middle of this one, I haven’t travelled down for several midweek games this season. That said, wishing my life away and can’t wait for Saturday, the excitement is finally back.

For possibly our biggest game of the season to date ( Ipswich aside ) I amazed at the number of tickets still available, just 4 days away, with plenty of doubles and the section next to the away area ( I assume has not been available to long ) almost totally available. How have you worked that out ? This England squad will surely be the strongest ever assembled, mainly due to how the academy system was changed. One of the hardest things will be who to leave out, due to all the current English talent. We possibly currently have the world’s best player in Bellingham, certainly the best in Europe. We have major talents in Foden and Saka and players like Ivan Toney who will probably be getting moved on for 60 million plus won’t even be good enough to get in the squad. The only problem we might hit is injuries at the back, but hopefully Stones and Walker will be fit. You must also remember that some of those in the squad, play much better consistently for England, than for their club. Pickford for instance statistically for England has only made one mistake that’s resulted in a goal.

Birmingham City, live in Birmingham now, went regular when I moved up here due to knowing somebody connected to the club and now my son in law has a box there. We have the box last game, so praying we don’t send them down in achieving our top 6 place, although I have a sneaky feeling we will win our next 2 and then play most of our under 21’s at Birmingham.

After the abuse thrown at him and some of the players mid season, is there any gauruntee him and some of those players will want to stay ? Time will tell.
