1. I think we should wait until Waveney has had 10 changes of username before pulling the plug-or do you think 1 week isn''t long enough?
2. I imagine that the article and poll were aimed at two posters on here in particular, one who has had an unhealthy obsession with our neighbours for many years and one who has become infected quite recently.
3. Vienna is an awful dirge, can’t believe so many people are still upset that Joe Dolce stopped it from getting to number 1.
4. I’ll be watching in a pub on the Wirral so I’ll be supporting Liverpool., but I think Madrid will win. Liverpool is a great place for a night out, more lively than London. The people up here are more friendly than anywhere else I’ve been in England and I’ll be moving up here permanently in 6 weeks time.
5. The BBC website is reporting that Grant Holt has signed up to some wrestling federation. What do you think is the most fitting wrestling nickname for our former striker?
6. Have they actually put any money in yet? Knob.
7. You are a massive f. ing troll usually but sadly you are right.
8. Unfortunately Sheff Wed are superior where it actually counts, in goals scored 😳😳😳
9. sgncfc, I’d say the worst brand of football we played was under Gunny.
10. Only by you, and nobody takes you seriously.
11. With Culverhouse leaving Kings Lynn I expect to find the duo at Arsenal next season :-)
12. I don’t know of any of our fans who celebrate Goss’ goal as one of our most memorable achievements-but some of us probably do consider being the only English club ever to beat Bayern at their old ground as being pretty memorable.
13.
Last prog City v Preston May 2004 promotion special. Only one bought that season for posterity. Modern progs repeat same info each home game not interesting enough. Used to put vouchers for cup final but this City could have done this to ensure real fans for Play Offs.
pete, you''re writing a post on a messageboard, not a telegram. Stop. You can actually write whole sentences on here if you want to. Stop.
14. Looks like they''ve got some reasonable fans and some idiots. Just like on here in fact, who would''ve thought?
15. Gerrard would be mad to take the Rangers job based on today''s game!
16. Doesn''t look like anyone else cares Herman πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”
17. I may have totally failed to understand the financial relationship between Evans and Ipswich, but does it go something like this? He purchased the debts-Β£32 million owed to Evans-he injected another Β£12 million under a new share issue-owed to Evans or not? Since then he has been making up the annual losses-again all owed to Evans. He had been getting 5% interest on the debt back from the club. He has been offsetting the annual losses against profits of other businesses in his empire. If this is correct, then it seems to me that IF he ever sells up, he is unlikely to want the debt to him to be paid by the purchaser-because most of that debt-except for the amount he purchased in 2007 and possibly the Β£12 million from the shares in 2007-will immediately become profit in that tax year. If he gets the debt repaid he will owe a whole lot of tax on that profit. Have I got that right?
18. Til and city1st are channelling Morty and LDC, but which is which?
19. I''m hoping for big things from Ben Godfrey, and hope that he will be next season''s Maddison, not in position but in terms of a massive improvement and playing a big part in the season.
20.
I''d assume you spelt it wrong the STFU...
I used autocomplete to save time, it was definitely correct-I won a spelling competition at school once!
21.
It''s not Naismith''s fault he signed a stupid deal for the club, it''s the fault of the idiots that came up with and ultimately sanctioned the deal. If you worked in a business where at the age of 34/35 your earning potential dropped off a cliff and you were approaching that age, you would hold on to see that deal through. From all accounts Naismith is professional and not a disruptive influence. The best NCFC can expect is to allow him to do a deal in Scotland and we then cover the difference between that new contract & the one he had with us... the other option is for him to be on our books for the whole of next season on full pay. Not one person on this board would give up their last hope of a big pay day. He has been a disaster at NCFC and best he leaves but he has to think of his family and his finances.
To add to this, it’s not inconceivable that he took a pay cut when he joined us from Everton, given that he joined them on a free from Rangers when they went bankrupt.
