  1. Fulham: "Haha, Nowich. We just beat Villa and now we''re sky high with confidence. You''re coming to our place on Saturday and we''re going to beat you and stay up." Norwich: "Sh*t. We''re going down" Fulham: "Yes, yes you are. And we''re staying up!" Norwich: "Oh, by the way, Fulham, we thought about this all last night and this afternoon and, well, we''ve just sacked Chris Hughton. New manager bounce and all that..." Fulham: "Oh f***!" Norwich: "Indeed. So, we''ll see you Saturday, then" Fulham: "Bugger!"
  2. Well, you all got your wish and Hughton has gone. May be the move that saves your season. You need one good result, against Fulham, to pretty much send them down and see you safe. My guess is that your board figured that the best chance they had of winning was to have a different voice in your dressing room for next weekend. Kind of shows you how important the board believes this next game is going to be. It looks like a game that will decide where Norwich City are playing their football next season. I think, if nothing else, that sacking has now wiped the smile of all them Fool''em fans who were probably rubbing their hands after their Villa result and believing that they could turn you over and escape going down.
  3. QPR fan in peace. I think you''ll stay up. Genuinely can''t see how a team that has already conceded 74 goals this season is going to stay up at your expense. It''d be a travesty if Fulham survive imo. Fulham''s abysmal goal difference is effectively an extra point you have on them, so really its a 6 point lead between you and them. You certainly have your problems but I think that a draw will be enough for you next weekend, even if you don''t pick up another point in your last 4 games. A draw would mean that Fulham would need to win 2 of 3 against Spurs, Hull and Palace which I genuinely can''t see Fulham getting. Their defence is historically bad and it will rear its ugly head in those remaining matches. You pretty much have the chance to save your asses and send Fulham down next weekend. I think you have one more decent result left in you and you''ll get that next weekend at the Cottage. Hughton or not, you deserve to stay up far more than Fulham who have been sh*te all season long and ran into a Villa side that''s already safe and stopped caring once Benteke''s season was lost to injury.
