1. Just been reading another thread on here concerning various forms of political correctness. On that basis, my previous post on here should have ended "That''s the way to treat people Roy."
2. The aspect that peeves me as far as the three to travel is concerned surrounds Foster. Just because of his past relationship with Hodgson, he is welcomed back despite having told England where to go a couple of years back. Now, he is displacing the very people (inc. Ruddy) who attended all the squad sessions which Foster said he didn''t want to be involved in. That''s the way to treat people Woy..
3. Trust Yankee Canary to come up with a legal action scenario - what a load of b******s. As for the "protesters", if like Pete, they are from Suffolk, there''s a great alternative for them in their own county. They''d be good for one another.
4.
Pete, that is an interesting concept, particularly if they implemented it, which I doubt is really the case. However, if your ''friends" should decide to act I''m sure they realize that they do not own the seats. They only agreed to pay a certain amount of money in exchange for the privilege of sitting n those seats. If it seen that they choose not to exercise that privilege then. naturally, the owners of those seats can choose to take action legally to ensure the space they provide for their patrons is being effectively utilized. Further, if they doubt this to be the case, it should be pointed out to them how the airlines operate. They, as normal practice, overbook their seats to optimize the likelihood of carrying a full load. I wonder how your "friends" would feel if football clubs decided to adopt a similar practice?
5. I think you are spot on but don''t agree with Foster deciding when he does and does not want to be included. Hodgson obviously likes him from their time together but should tell him he is "retired" and therefore no longer wanted.
6. You simply cannot advocate a change of manager right at this time. Despite your unceasing devotion to Lambert, he is clearly history as far as Norwich are concerned, you really must come to terms with that fact. As for bringing a new face in now, I look at the Next Manager betting and see a bunch of also-rans with, in most cases, managerial records which don''t hold a candle to Hughton. Neither here at Norwich or in his former posts.
7. If someone in the ticket office was able to assure City 2nd that Hughton would have departed ahead of next season, why are we spending money on the Press dept. Did this contact tell you who would be in place or are you obliged to keep it under your hat?
8. To liken Hughton''s situation to that of Gunn in the OP really demonstrates that Bell End is so embittered that he has lost all sense of reality. Hughton can demonstrate a commendable managerial record here at Norwich and in his previous posts. Gunn was a decent bloke who had zero experience and little more capability but Bell End is so warped in his thinking that he sees them the same.
9. Ask any Spurs fan how gutted they were to lose him and you''ll hear all about his shortcomings. Aside from the Bentecke header and the o.g., we had another wild swipe which went for a corner, could have gone anywhere. As someone else commented in a post, you cannot have a centre-back who guarantees at least one howler each game.
10. The point that strikes me as far as Lineker is concerned is that an understudy has to be brought in every Sunday for MOTD2. Given his reported salary, is it really too much to ask that he fronts two programmes per week? The lazy git.
11. Agree with both comments but what proportion of the £8 would we be able to count on?
12.

If sporting offered to take him back for £8 million, would you take the money or chance it that he will improve? Personally if we stay up id like him here next season.
I would take the money and run at the moment. Here''s hoping he has a storming end to the season.
13. I feel that circumstances contrived to really mess up his introduction and integration into our team and indeed the English league. A difficult transition was interrupted by a lengthy lay-off and by the time he was able to resume, his confidence was on such a downward spiral. This has continued to the point where his head is all over the place if he finds himself in possession of the slightest chance. I think he can and will eventually work through this trough but the question is, does our current situation allow us (him) the time to get established? On the subject of the ease with which he is muscled off the ball, we have to realise what his strengths are that we are waiting to see and accept that out-muscling is not one of them.
14. Spot on Ginge. Bell End Canary doesn''t seem to notice that the Lambert bubble had burst by the time he left us. He clearly felt he would take us one way from where he was and best that he got out while he was winning. If he had to fight his fall-out with Bowkett, he would have been up for it with the total backing of the fanbase. The type of guy that he is means that he would never have walked away if he wanted to stay. And what''s he achieved in his other managerial posts? Not a lot, unless you count tactically outwitting Bryan Gunn before he joined us.
15. littleyellowbird speaks far too much sense for this forum. The outers don''t seem to realise the dangers of what we might finish up with at this stage of the season if a change was made. Malky, no thanks, Lennon - he''d fall out with somebody in the first week. And a new manager would need to learn the new players that he would be stuck with. Certainly, the ManC and Spurs matches have shown that the players are giving their all for Hughton. Yes, good sense littleyellowbird.
16.
My guess is; Ruddy Martin, Yobo, Bassong, Olson Johnson, Tettey, Snodgrass, Fer, Redmond RvW
RvW up front on his own, with Hooper consigned to the bench??? I have been wondering who scouted Ricky, looks like I may have found him.
17. You appear to think a bit like the present manager in that you talk about keeping certain people because they give us good cover in various positions. What is needed are a number of players good enough to make up the first choice X1.
18.
Ollie Burton, I think he lives near Diss, Hall of Famer Last time I heard about him he was not to well.
If I''ve got it right, Ollie Burton seldom misses a home game, sits immediately behind Delia. He was there as recently as Man. City.
19.
8 points out of 30 in the last 10 games and failed to score in 6 of them. Smell the coffee FFS as this is heading to end in tears.
I think it''s worse than that, 8 out of 33 in the last 11 games and 5 goals scored in those 11.
20.
Look, we are not relegated yet. We have done everything right in the last three games except score. Performances are up there with the best we have seen from a Hughton side. The only thing that is missing is the confidence/luck in front of goal.
It''s a bit like saying that we keep losing cricket matches by 10 wickets despite bowling really really well. The only thing missing was we just couldn''t take a wicket.
21. Looking at current form, I struggle to find three worse performing teams. Yes we organised well and deserved the point against Man. C. but we will not survive if we continue to fail to score. Since the good away win at the Hawthorns, we have played 11 league games, got 8 points and scored 5 goals. That''s 5 goals in 11 games. I keep reading how this keeper and that keeper have had inspired matches against us. Wouldn''t it be good to see our strike force having an inspired day for once. Don''t know who scouted our man Ricky, whether the manager had an input but it is beginning to look like we flushed £8.5m. on that decision.
22. Yes, to say that we had to wait until 89th minute to see any sparkle from Redmond is such a crass comment, assuming that it came from somebody who was at the game. Yes, we had had a woeful shot from him early on but for me he showed great touches throughout.
23. Should we take it from your liberal use of punctuation that your comments are of a wind-up nature? I guess so, nobody could make them and mean them - could they?
24. Didn''t notice anybody dressed like that. Calderwood was standing with him more than usual today and was wearing a new track suit (navy). These track suits (Trollope had one on also) are a different one to what they usually wear.
25. I acknowledge a couple of woeful bits of distribution which gifted possession in dangerous positions but fortunately we survived. His detractors only seem to see any poor play from him, closing their eyes to all the positive contributions he makes. Certainly, a group around my mate in the Upper Barclay seem unable to wait to pinpoint anything he does wrong. In a game earlier in the season, I was thinking that Martin had had as good a game as anybody, a really outstanding first half and an ok second half. Upon meeting my mate outside the ground, his first words were "God, wasn''t Russell Martin awful?" I certainly see him as markedly less of a liability than Whitaker and also a better bet than some of the potential signings being mentioned.
