1. The chances missed are not on him, but that substitution to bring on Elmander is most definitely on him. We didn''t look threatening again once that move was made. We are in trouble and we need to fire him just to inject a little bit of life into this team.
2. Was really superb. One of the best for a long time, as a previous poster said, the last 20 minutes the fans really got behind the team and it was the loudest I''d heard it this season for sure. To be fair I thought the fans got behind the lads for 90 minutes, and I think it really helped get us over the line in the end. Team seemed to be feeding on the energy from the stands and I''d be surprised if Hughton and the lads don''t mention it in the post game interviews. Always sit lower barclay and thought the whole stadium was doing a job, even looked as though the N&P were getting in the mood too.
3. Swansea have paid the price for having a small squad compete on several fronts. They have a good team, but when they are playing in all the domestic competitions and Europe too, and get a player or two injured it really shows. He''s a good manager but his squad was spread too thin, they are dead on their legs at the moment.
4. Completely agree LDC. I can''t wait for this match, I still remember welcoming the likes of Carlisle and having a trip to Stockport County, so will be absolutely buzzing to welcome Manchester City to Carrow Road. I have to agree with another poster though, the atmosphere at the stadium recently has been extremely bad (well I sit in the lower Barclay so can only attest to that). I think it was Russell Martin who said the players can feel the tenseness in the stands. I think fans shouting abuse at the players actually think that helps them perform.......which to me says they''ve never tried to do anything with anyone shouting some abuse at them.
5. I''m pretty sure you can just change the name on the season ticket for a renewal. A buddy of mine did that last year, just need to contact the ticket office and get it changed over for next season.
6. Although the atmosphere isn''t great at the ground at the moment, I absolutely love the tense fight for survival. Of course being middle of the table and secure for another year is preferable, but when I get to Carrow Road, or go away to the likes of Villa.....the excitement of it being a must win game is great.
7. There is absolutely no evidence at all to suggest they don''t care, they are not executing but their effort level is up there. They all run to the final whistle, the quality and direction just isn''t there. I really don''t like the whole, they are rich so they don''t care argument. Football has a lot of money involved, Rooney is on about 10x what our players are on and he runs himself into the ground every single game. United aren''t doing so well, but does that mean Rooney doesn''t care? absolutely not. Wage is not a determining factor when it comes to effort. I see the likes of Snodgrass, Johnson, Hooper and even Ricky, working extremely hard every single minute of every single game. It''s not effort that we are lacking, but effort won''t keep us up. You can''t tell me that none of our players will care if they are relegated, it reflects on them as much as the club. Of course we care more, we''ll live through it all long after most of them have retired. However I think it''s wrong to question the players effort based on if they care or not, I think it''s obvious that they care. We just don''t have the direction.
8.

I agree it is part of the game Ricardo, but what I meant by "now it seems all he is asked to do" is that he seems to have little license to do his actual job which is to score goals. Strikers defend when they need to, but I watch a lot of football and although that''s part of the game, they main duty is still to be the front line of attack and defending is their secondary job. Ricky spends most of his time defending when he doesn''t need to, which means when we get the ball he is 30 yards further back than where he needs to be. I''m certainly not arguing he should put his shift in, but as mentioned.....that shouldn''t be his primary job.
The strikers have had so few chances it''s no wonder they are lacking confidence. The wingers have been poor in their delivery and the midfield have not controlled enough of games to get the ball to the front men. With 14 games left it''s going to be all about concentration and courage and not so much about formations and tactics.
That is definitely a problem, but when we do put decent balls in the box, we have one, maybe two players in there. I remember a few good balls coming in against Newcastle and Hull, and Hooper may have been the only player in the box. Ricky was usually out wide having had to come back and defend. Fer needs to play a more advanced role. I really wouldn''t be against playing Johnson and Tettey in central midfield and playing Fer just behind Hooper in an attacking midfield role. Just to see how he does with a little less defensive responsibility.

10. Definitely agree with BB about the starting line-up yesterday. I don''t think you can start a game against the bottom club who are in terrible form with Tettey and Johnson, that shows absolutely no attacking threat. When you are looking at our team this year, the one thing we have been missing is a creative spark from midfield. At the start of the season it looked as though Fer would be that man, he was playing a lot higher, supporting the strikers....slowly he has been dropping further and further back and now he seems to operate more as a defensive midfielder. I imagine we bought Fer because he was as close to a complete midfielder that we could afford. However now he is just another midfielder who has had his creativity shackled. I think this is why most people have a problem with Hughton, look at early season Fer, and even early season Ricky before the injury, his movement was outstanding. Now it seems all he is asked to do is track back and tackle. When he is up top, he is isolated, playing balls into his feet with his back to goal is a terrible idea, if you watched him at sporting he was always on the shoulder, relying on those midfielders getting forward in support. I hate being negative about this team, I go to the games for the enjoyment and to support the club through any problems, you won''t catch me booing any of the players or the manager, but I feel we have the players in place, we just need to play to their natural strengths.....Hughton seems to be trying to hammer the circular beg into the square hole, while the circular peg is sitting right next to him.
11. Think I''d probably go with: Ruddy Martin Bennet Bassong Olsson Snodgrass Tettey Fer Redmond Hooper Wolfy
12. If only we could have the same optimism at Carrow Road, I understand the atmosphere reflects what we see on the pitch, but ironic cheering and verbally abusing your own players are not going to help us play better. I don''t think we''ll go down either, but we all need to play our part in helping the team as much as possible. It can be frustrating to try and get behind a team playing extremely boring football, but supporting the team is why we pay to go and watch every week. I don''t think the OP has said you can''t discuss anything or have an opinion, he''s just saying that in his opinion we are staying up. The negativity you read every single day on here is the same negativity we see at the ground every single home game. The players can feel it coming from the stands and It''s not going to help at all.
