  1. £8m is a great price for a player of Snodgrass'' ability. Hull will never sell him for more than that price. So I''m ok with that. Grabban was a good buy, Lafferty - we shall see. I''m looking forward to the season. I must admit, I think it''s a tough ask to get promoted and I have my doubts as to whether we will do it, but I''m excited to see what happens.
  2. Apparently it''s £7.75 rising to £8m, so very close to £8m. I suppose Hull are keen to publicly state the figure at around £7m because they don''t want the obvious criticism to come their way, but it''s basically £8m and a very good deal for us.
  3. We were offered close to £8m for a half decent winger who struggles to cross, take corners, take penalties and beat defenders. If that makes us a selling club, then I''m happy being a selling club.
  4. Or: If he scores against Ipswich: Oh Kyle, ooohhh, Oh Kyle, oooohhh He scored against the scum, then he f*cked your Mum. Oh Kyle, oooooh, oh Kyle, oooohhh.
  5. Lovecats by The Cure, change it to Loverats. Just a thought. http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spfl-lower-divisions/palermo-axe-kyle-lafferty-over-womanising-claims-1-3458813
  6. I''m heavily in the market for a Norwich/Rotherham one.
  7. Great business. Delighted with this. £8m for a winger who can''t cross, beat a defender, take corners or penalties. Hull would never be able to sell Snodgrass for more than £8m, no matter how much time he had left on his contract.
  8. Rodwell, like Sinclair, should never have signed for Man City. It was only ever going to end with them being unused squad players when they were available for selection.
  9. Very happy with this news. All we need is similar money for Ricky and I''m happy.
  10. Hardworking player who lacks the final ball too many times. Can''t take corners to save his life, scores the odd free-kick but misses more than he scores. If we get a good fee, I''d drive him to Hull (for 25p per mile).
  11. Scholes had the right idea. He knew they''d play him out of the position, he knew we''d never achieve anything so he retired and prolonged his career with United. Right choice.
  12. £6.5m is fair enough to me. Delighted if we keep him, but also not devastated if we get good money for him.
  13. RIP. Club said he died suddenly. Awful news. A minute''s silence/applause is a must.
  14. Love or hate John Terry, he always gave everything for England. Gerrard didn''t last night. He was nowhere.
  15. Anyone listened to Chris Waddle''s comments? He''s spot on.
  16. This is a ridiculously stupid thread by LDC. Pathetic. Get out more.
  17. I''d keep Ricky. Just to see what he can do.
  18. Find it funny that the reported reason why Norwich finished talks with Malky was because they got the feeling he was waiting on other options. You have to assume the main other option he was looking at was West Brom. With Celtic, West Brom and as of today, Southampton, filling managerial vacancies, a certain Mr. Mackay might feel a sense of regret. Malky was chasing two rather attractive looking jobs and got neither of them. Serves him right.
  19. If, after all this, it ends up being Ricky Martin, I may actually laugh out loud.
  20. I just don''t get why people like Jas are so precious over a silly little football forum. It''s pathetic.
