1. Or... You''re doing brilliant lads. My plan is working. I know what I''m doing. I have the backing of the board so f**k you and all the poor sods who watch you week in, week out.
2. oops sorry Chris I spelt your name wrong....Hughton. at least you''re not the only one who gets things wrong. lol
3.
I would''t assume the club''s silence signifies its backing for CH. I think he''s a dead man walking personally. But McNally is smart enough to do what''s best for the club and he will realise that waiting until after the West Ham game is the best thing for the club. We have a better chance of 3 points against them with the manager in place for that game rather than no-one in place for that game. Or god forbid Calderwood.
What I meant was, Houghton just seems to be there. Hasn''t got a clue. What difference if he''s there or not against West Ham? The players heads are down already. At least if he''s gone they know the situation. If Houghton is still there for that game will they think maybe he won''t be for the next game and so it goes on wondering when or if he''ll be gone.
4. In theory we don''t have anyone in charge now. what difference would a few days make?
5. that''s so true, Vlad. the rot has set in already. the guys heads are down it seems before the ball has been kicked in anger. Houghton is a nice guy but in every interview he never seems to come across as having the spirit that''s needed to win and I think it''s rubbed off on the players. maybe he''s already resigned himself to the fact that his days might be numbered.
6. 6 foot 2, eyes of blue, Duncan Forbes is after you....oh those were the days. lol
7. But everybody in every league has a hard run in. If your guy upfront is having trouble scoring, give him some help. not leave him stranded like a sinking ship. You only have to look at the lads who have scored to see the positions they play in. Houghton persists with this 1 upfront bulls**t. It clearly doesn''t work for us. We were an attacking team at one time playing good "attractive" football. That seems to have been knocked out of them. Now the team that rolls over on it''s back and lets the others walk over them. The Tractorboys down the A140 must be laughing at us now.....getting ready for next seasons derby games.
8. Are they all having a laugh and a joke?
9. is Ian Holloway still looking for a job?
10. When did this 1 player up front first hit our shores? Why does Houghton persist in playing this formation? It clearly isn''t working for us. We have a good squad that needs a leader not a sheep following others. What''s good for one is not necessarily good for someone else. Give Becchio a chance. He deserves it as much as Hooper or The Wolf. Why did they buy him in the first place if not to give him a chance. The longer he sits on the bench.....how insulting for him. Houghton play 2 up front....what have you got to loose?
