    Adams is proving to be an inspired choice. Hooper, Howson and Ryan Bennett to return, we are too much for any side in this league. We are just steam rolling sides, 7 goals away from home in 4 days against decent sides with play-off aspirations.

    Can''t we just stay down next year and do it all again? It''s o much more enjoyable....

    If you look, all other games are being shown on Unibet and another channel apart from us but they''ve missed out the channel so the game before us Blackpool v Watford is channel 11 and the game after us Cardiff v Boro is channel 13 so I reckon we are on this one. Offline at mo but see nearer kick-off

    1st Half we were brilliant, Tettey and Fer were majestic and the penny has finally dropped with Hoots about Olsson. Unfortunately, I think we have bought a fantastic striker who doesn''t fit in with our system at the minute and his confidence is evaporating.

    However, I was still screaming about Hoots second-half, there were times when we could have broke and were just going sideways as orders were clearly to shut-up shop when Stoke were p*ss poor and we could have got at least one more. Still, he''s saved himself and we look much better table wise given our next two.

    In our first season up I thought any win was miraculous and when we won at Bolton to get our first win on the road I nearly fainted. Last season, I just prayed for survival and when Wigan went down at Arsenal I needed to lie down.I also vividly recall in years past listening to 606 when Charlton fans called for Curbs to be fired or Bolton fans complained about Big Sam or Evertonians were starting a campaign against Moyes and thinking your totally mental and just think yourselves grateful that you play in that league. The point I''m making is that we do need to maybe keep our ambitions in check and keep some rationale. We spent big but only to keep up with the Jones. Indeed, the money outlay by City just about matched or was less than comparable clubs like Swansea, Saints, West Ham etc. I am massively disappointed and advocate change (although Stoke may change things) but this needs to be tempered with realism about how far we have come and where, realistically, we can expect to be.

    What now constitutes a successful season at Norwich?

    What expectations do we have of any manager coming in? pretty football, more endeavour away from home?

    Where are we as a club in this respect. I also think these questions would need to be addressed before any new appointment is made which maybe difficult because if we are struggling we go for pragmatism to ensure survival which longer-term would be unpalatable to fans.

    Whether your pro or anti (and I was very loyal last season to him despite some alarming stuff but have had it now with the lack of change) we need to be very careful about ending up like Sunderland who have sacked one nut-job without a clear replacement in mind and are now interview candidates which are leaving Mackems on the brink of mutiny. We see on this forum that who ever is appointed to replace Hoots would be divisive. Although unlike Sunderland I don''t think something is rotten in the State of Denmark down at the Carra. The odds market gives us a chance to review realistic candidates given I suspect the bandwagon is now rolling indefinitely towards change...

    Thinking that we would not get either Martinez or McKay then, despite being an ardent critic and looking at potential replacements I really really will be hoping Hoots and the lads go for it and pull some irons out of the fire this Sunday and the man changes. Can you imagine the Wally with the Brolly at FCR, or Norwich playing Pullisball - it''s horrible.

    No idea - tonight I suspect after the games - but I can tell you Hoots response to it: "whoever we got at this stage was going to be really tough and Tranmere at home is no different. They are a magnificent side with some big players and real quality in every area of the park and it''s going to be really tough for us to get anything out of this one."

    Yes they are thinking although I think a review before the international break would be where anything happened. I want him out but love him and wish he would change but I fear he won''t and I seriously doubt survival. The Mac is awfully quiet on Twitter these days. A case of baton down the hatches. Whatever your opinion on the merits one way or the other that''s the beauty of the sport and following our club so each opinion is valid and debate is good. As for the Mirror report, it''s just reflecting the betting odds and the growing feelings of supporters and maybe their contacts are whispering things.......

    Just my opinion on getting perspective although I accept Watford was a tough draw they did make changes so were not their full starting 11 by any stretch and left their brilliant midfielder Ireny out of the squad and top scorer on the bench. We can argue till the cows come home over the merits or otherwise but the reality is we need league performances and Hoots is walking the precipice for me despite last night.

    It would have been portrayed as a ''cup shock'' had we lost. There is meant to be a gulf in class between the two levels of football so we won and I am very happy and really really hope we can take this into the next game and Hoots gets a light bulb above his head about posing more threat to the opposition away from home.

    Under ordinary cicumstances a point is good at Stoke and I would take it but the start has been poor and if they did decide on a change it would be at the international break. If I''m McNally with my credibility on the line then I will review it at that point and make a judgement on 5 points out of 8 games, 4 points after 8 games or whatever it is and decide whether we stick or twist. I think going into the international break with 5 points from some very winnable games and with the money spent and fan unrest would leave Hoots very very vulnerable.

    We beat a championship side who made 8 changes and needed extra time and a last minute goal to do so and were rubbish for 75 minutes despite fielding 4 of our top summer signings and needed a youth player off the bench. A great win and really pleased and pray this is a watershed moment but...

    I don''t see loads of swallows to make a summer. Maybe, just maybe this is a sign of our desperation we are looking for loads of signs of recovery etc. Wigan, Birmingham and Pompey have all won cups and got relegated. The league is the main priority and nothing changes as far as Hoots is concerned. Results and performance have been pretty shocking thus far and not what any canary fan hoped for pre-season.

    The game at Stoke is absolutely huge and may well define our season and leadership given the 2 other prem games before the international break are probably not winnable. I genuinely think that had we got a point at home to Villa then a point at Stoke is a good result but now it is must-win for Hughton unless he can do something against Arsenal and Chelsea.

    He needs a good performance and some real intent from the players this Sunday or else that''s the end for me.

    According to those who were there, we were very poor for 75 minutes up until the substitution of Josh.

    Everyone wants us to go and have a go at Stoke.He is still under huge pressure because the performances and results this seasons apart from some patches in games have been dire and rather than going in the right direction the last two games have been very alarming for all. Most fans will be back on side if we win at Stoke but I just keep thinking about 4 points after 8 in the league and that would spell the end for me personally and mean it was another season of damage limitation and crisis.

    That said, maybe this is Hoots modus operandi and we start sh*t, pick up and then drop off towards the end of the season. Lots of clubs are like this in the premiership having their own peaks and troughs which repeat season after season.

    Hoots must now give him a chance and Ollson on Sunday. He''s raw but not infected with the doubts and staleness of the others, with him Hoops and Ollson it''s pure freshness against Stoke and far more intent. If Hoots wants to save himself and regain his status then he must react to these performances or else he loses some credibility. I know Josh may fade like Ryan Jarvis but he is something unknown to the opposition and just like Redmond we take the risk they blow hot and cold and are still young.
