  1. If you saw the whole match then you would have seen Hooper on the pitch. Would you recognise him if he was on the pitch Mr chops?
  2. The pompous gene will reveal itself if it is there.

Is it because he was playing for someone else? Is it because he''s a foreigner? I don''t get "we were caught up in the excitement". Winning qualification for the World Cup is even more exciting surely? It''s way too convenient to start making a stand with this incident. Your right, it''s not the one to make a stand on. But a stand must be made by somebody, when the circumstances make it right to do so, for the sake of the game.

  5. If you weren''t at the game, don''t have an opinion. There''s a good lad. Pompous arse. Get up to Carrow Road one day and feel the atmosphere, create some if you like, you might find you actually enjoy it. it beats sitting behind you key board and trying to be clever my man!

I support my team there are many ways in which this can be accomplished, creating disharmony within the club is not one of them. The last thing any of us wants is disharmony in the club Zac With you on that 100%
  7. Well I know you wouldn''t have been so I won''t bother asking. if you can''t be bothered to make the effort to go to CR eh?
  8. If you read my previous post you will see that I have already taken the point!
  9. Well I always enjoy a match day pie mr Chops. What do they feed you on?
  10. I don''t know about convenient, it''s never going to be convenient to make a stand on this issue. But yes, it would be a more appropriate when a player is wearing a yellow shirt, this particular incident though looked really cynical and made me very angry.

  12. No pattern as far as I''m concerned Nigel! I think it''s just about time that we draw a line in the sand and actually take some action, sounds like the idealism of a naive youth, which I can assure you I am not, but I have had a gut full of this sort of cheating and somebody has to take a lead. Why shouldn''t we show some leadership here, all revolutions have to start somewhere!
  13. He''s not underestimated BW, why do you say that?
  14. Your right, it was more like organised warfare in the bad old days.
  15. Bit worried by Twichy''s comments about him limping on the touch line at the Irish game. When fully fit Pilks is one of the best we have, but he does often seem to be carrying a knock. He did however have an opp close season so there will be some ups and downs before he can become fully fit again!
  16. Do you recon the old hooliganism is rearing it''s ugly head ginger ?
  17. Watching the tv program on the 70''s. Football hooliganism taking hold because of the lack of dads and grandads in the crowd casting disapproving looks. At least that''s what the editor thinks! Still recon there are a few of the old NHS hanging around, pink faces and beer bellies, role models for the youngsters now showing in the crowd?
  18. We are showing the rest of the PL another way to properly run a football club, why not show some leadership and discipline our players for this type of behaviour!
  19. This guy has the potential to be a legend for us and could perhaps be the catalyst for RVW to start bagging loads of goals!
  20. I feel embarrassed when I see a player do things like this, and when it is a City player, in a World Cup qualifier, I feel even more embarrassed and in fact ashamed. So ok Wiz may well have gone full blast at this, but in fact what he says has some resonance, it was a disgraceful act, and something that our great club should not be in any way associated with. So all you guys who jump in to have a go at Wiz, should perhaps explain why our club should accept such unsportsmanlike behaviour and not seek to deal with a player that brings us into disrepute! It''s not about Wiz it''s about NCFC!!!
  21. I certainly thank Purple, Spartacus, but to be honest I did drop off half way through. What I really need to know from our resident accountant is whether all is good in the garden! As far as I can see we are supporting a club that, to keep the garden theme going, is self sufficient, looks like we can feed ourselves from the allotment, as long as the Sky keeps the sun shining. That is what Purple said I think. Very happy to see the £1,600,000 going to Mr Mc.( that is right isn''t it?) around £30k per week from a quick mental calculation ( probably wrong), have no problem with that. Would be interesting to get the views of other poster who seem to have a downer on him, lack of engagement with local busy body groups etc. He''s doing a fine job and deserves every penny/pound. Yes Spartacus, would love to see bor bor produce one of his most excellent reports on the accounts!
  22. When you see the fury on here after a loss it''s amazing that there were no mr angry''s there, or maybe it isn''t!
  23. The question I asked was not if he could play them together but how he could play them together. Much as he told us all last year how he could get Wes into the team. What I was pleased about in his answer was that he thought if he did do it he would play Hooper behind RVW. I''ve read stuff on here where people think they could play the other way around and I don''t agree with that. I would like to see RVW in the box as often as possible. His movement in there is different class to anything we''ve had here for a vey long time if ever. Agreed about RVW movement, the challenge for CH and the squad is how best to work with him and deliver the ball. I saw signes on Sunday that Howson and surprising Tettey were looking for him with balls from midfield, also the added dimension of Olsson getting behind and delivering good crosses from the goal line will help. Our crossing has been predictable, too loopy and near the keeper in some of the games so far, not really giving him much of a chance I think Olsson will give RVW a bit more to work off. I would like to see Hooper in the hole, he seems to be strong on the ball and will draw defenders, I think he could well be strong enough to create more space for RVW and play him in.
