  1. It does seem odd that they make these awards before the end of the season. Arsenal and Liverpool are demonstrating that it is never too late to throw it away.
  2. I've not seen anyone comment on their wall for the goal. As it turned out their whole goal was exposed and there was no funny business from us to pull anyone out of the way. I guess they felt that it was so far out that the keeper could cover 80% of their goal. Their wall was as effective as the Siegfried Line, where the Germans just went around the end - like Nunez.
  3. I'm prepared to give Josh the benefit of the doubt on the Morsy one. He is a bit like Bambi on ice - not the most gainly of strikers, and I think he was preparing to shoot. Definite yellow and a free kick.
  4. So which match were you watching? Not the one at Carrow Road obviously.
  5. I was disappointed with Sainz today. Maybe he had been told to come inside a lot, but it left their no 29 - who crossed for their goal - completely unmarked on numerous occasions, with McCullum left to mark two players. I'm not sure anyone really played well. Against any Premiership side we'd have been destroyed.
  6. Following England is like being a Norwich fan - it's the hope that hurts, so on that basis I suggest "Heartbreaker" by Free.
  7. Universal have already made the film back in 1986. It was called The Money Pit.
  8. That's for next year, after they qualify through winning the FA Cup...........maybe I'm losing sight of where FIFA 24 ends and reality begins.
  9. I only suggested it as they would then be above us on goal difference alone.
  10. Dock them 20 points and then the club would be more careful who they sell tickets to.
  11. Our first signing should be Bob The Builder, to erect a block wall behind Gunn, as it's the only way we're going to stay up. Football is broken.
  12. From the BBC website: "Alistair Johnston fizzes in a great cross for Adam Idah to attack and the Celtic striker (sic) has his head in his hands after failing to get a touch." Sounds familiar.
  13. Their appearance on The Old Grey Whistle Test playing "Delilah" is a joy to behold.
  14. According to some people on here, Wagner keeps putting out statues of Gibson and Duffy onto the pitch every week.
  15. This is hardly a new phenomenon. I well remember Allan Clarke doing this at CR in the first season we were ever promoted to the First Division. We had Leeds under the cosh, so he collapsed like he'd taken an assassin's bullet, allowing his team to re-organise. My goodness, we had them rattled that day.
  16. Well said Sean. It does mean we'll be watching your team like hawks from now on, though.
  17. Sounds ghastly and I hope he recovers soon and well. Shame it wasn't at a Roundabout, as it means we can't blame Norfolk Highways. I regard myself as a reasonable driver (OK I know, who doesn't) and I have a thing about lane discipline, but those NDR Roundabouts... there's just something wrong with them. Maybe they are just counter-intuitive.
  18. What I saw of Burnley last season did nothing to make me think they might stay up. They seemed to be very similar to how they were when relegated, and I'm not sure they've changed much since promotion. They've taken our mantle of being too good for the Championship and not good enough for the Prem.
  19. I can't decide whether CD is a better position for him, or whether it is just easier to see what he does. His runs forward with the ball and his passing have added to our attacking options. Too many times in the past I've got to the end of a game and wondered what Kenny had contributed.
  20. He pointed for SVH to pass to him, and was disappointed that he was overlooked.
  21. Just make it about the feet and no other part of the body. Sara's goal also took a deflection off someone's head, which probably made all the difference. Great result though.
  22. Well at least he won't get injured before we have the chance to sell him.....ah, I see the flaw in my thinking.
