  1. Do you think our Jez will eventually sort out the big problems with our club? You know, really big stuff...like scampi portion sizes? Have a word TG!
  2. Have you far ted or is it Alex stinking the place out again?
  3. Moxey is more like a dodgy used car salesman...underneath you know he is a sleaze ball that you can''t trust, will rip you off, and not be interested in helping when you want your money back. The kind that disappears when things need sorting. No thanks. And BTW I''m not grateful that we have him...we should be aiming higher than someone who already failed in a similar job.
  4. I was born and breed in Lincoln. It''s a small city and the imps have been non league for sometime now. There''s a regular bloke who bangs a drum that does your head in throughout the whole game. I went when we played a preseason friendly against the imps before our last PL campaign. Still fond of the place and hope they get back to Division 2. Come on you imps, sink the binmen! Wolf.
  5. Yep, it could be a while in the chumps. We not only need to clear out some of the playing staff, but also some of the other shocking appointments like Moxey, Balls, Irvine, Nephew Tom etc. However, if we can get a manager to organise us into a sytstem that suits us (so we can defend and have a cutting edge going forward) it might not be all doom and gloom. Looks unlikely this season but if we get the right manager...it''s a matter of fit IMO. Not sure who that might be. Rowett might work. Always a gamble to change but time has come (a while back actually) to set the foundations for a brighter future with a manager who is going to develop our young talent alongside some of the more committed older players. Just an opinion.
  6. We can''t keep saying we were unlucky. The table doesn''t lie. As for all the talk about the next six winnable games...a good home win here and there is not good enough. Not sure how anyone can really defend AN now. We should not be losing to this lot, even with 10 men. Not if we are serious about going up. We are way off right now. It''s not all the fault of AN of course but the buck stops with him. Don''t give him more money to waste.
  7. As I mentioned on an earlier thread, I''m not sure how resilent we are. Since the Newcastle game we haven''t looked like being able to hang in there and turn things around when behind. Now we need to show we are resilient and we can overturn it. Big 45 minutes to come. Feels like a defining moment with this manager and team. OTBC.
  8. If we can gain some momentum by winning a few games in a row then the playoffs are quite possible. And as you say the next 6 offer the chance for us to climb the table. My concern is our resilience. We were doing well against Newcastle and that late loss knocked the stuffing out of our team IMO. A bit like the Liverpool game last season. Today is important if we can build on the Derby game. But more important, if we can close the gap on teams above us will be when we are in tougher situations against better sides (than Rotherham). Can we hang in there and turn potential losses into draws, or draws into wins? Certainly an interesting few months ahead and playoffs still to play for. Just not convinced by AN but let''s see how today goes first.
  9. We are all very thankful for your efforts TG. Very thankful indeed 🙏💩
  10. If we can put a run of results together and end up in the playoffs I think the other teams will be wanting to avoid us...as we are capable of beating most teams in this league on our day. Perhaps unlikely but stranger things have happened. That why we go...just in case. Wolf.
  11. Just realised I missed Naismith off the list of those who people wanted to be moved on.
  12. Interesting results so far...1168 responses. The players that most respondents want to see gone are Brady, Bassong, Lafferty, Turner and Whittaker. Presume Brady is on here as he is an asset that people feel we can do without and to bring cash to create a transfer kitty (given previous comments about needing to sell to buy). Turner and Whittaker are fairly obvious choices and Lafferty appears surplus to requirements with Lord Nelson''s form. Presume most would like to see any funds spent on upgrading the defense. Any thoughts on the poll and who we should be bringing in? Wolf.
  13. 2017 suddenly got much better. Great result, good performance and at last feels like we have a striker that worries our opponents. It only really counts in terms of our season if we build on this and put a run together. Still serious doubts about AN for me but no complaints today. Let''s hope it''s the start of something because we now have a run of winnable games.
  14. If you pay your money, Unlike you, You have the right, To cheer or boo.
  15. Great work Number9, and loving the trendy spelling mistakes.
  16. We have persisted too long with AN. If we get a new man in after Derby we might see a bounce because confidence is a powerful thing. Our confidence is low right now and I don''t believe AN can turn it around. But we are now relying on two things...our form rapidly improves and the wheels come off two or three of the teams currently in or around the playoffs. Right now us making the playoffs is a long shot, unfortunately.
  17. Let me guess, True Sh!t thinks we should be thankful for a point away at Brentford?
  18. Its going to be interesting to see us playing two up front. Hopefully playing to our strengths. Sh!t or bust for Alex. At least he''s going for it.
