1. I wouldn''t want Judas back. I agree about the last two games but since January we have generally been poor. Not too convinced about so-called signs of improvement. Let''s see what happens in next couple of home games. Regardless of the opposition, picking the ball out of our net 7 times in two games isn''t good for confidence. Crunch time is upon us. P45 is waiting for Chris if we don''t start winning soon. Let''s hope for 3 points on Saturday. OTBC.
2. It will be tense - don''t expect too many goals. Either 1-0 City or 1-1 (we rarely score twice). If the latter it could be goodbye Chris. OTBC.
3. I have to agree, particularly about point 7. I would also love it if CH turns things around. We shouldn''t be too quick to judge on the last two results. That said, the results and performances in the last calendar year have not been good. After four games folks were calling for his head, while others were saying it''s just a matter of time before things click. But there must come a time when enough is enough. The Hughton supporters keep saying it''s too early to judge, but I feel like Jimmy that the next four games is crunch time. Massive game next week. I remain hopeful but not confident.
4.
If so I expect our club to be 10 million richer!!
Another ten million in the hands of Chris...the sound of money flushing down the drain and Championship football.
5. I don''t think we could really expect anything from Arsenal away, or Chelsea at home (these are two top teams). Truth is, we have had a poor start and the next few games will show us where we really are. I suspect we will be in the relegation mix throughout the season. A couple more poor results and Chris could be a gonna. Probably should be a gonna but not because of this defeat. Next week looks massive.
6. I would like to see MON at CR again. It was not so long ago he was being muted for the very top jobs. Given that we are unlikely to persuade Mourinho or Guardiola, he would seem a reasonable option. He has something to prove after Sunderland. Sometimes it''s a matter of fit. Proud of how the team kept going last night. Hooper is just what we need. We have good players but need new management. OTBC
7. That has got to be sorted. We are a joke. Hughton must go, now, before we''re relegated.
8. Seriously? P45 for mister Hughton in the morning - I really hope so. That would be one loss that I could stomach.
9. I wouldn''t have Judas back. He was great for us then but times change. Never to be trusted...he is a bit of a twat really. We need to move on from Lambert and Hughton.
10. Yes, time''s up for CH. In this calendar year it''s relegation form. No confidence.
11. I have seen a lot of BS on this site about "pant wetters". You know, let''s wait and see after ten games...it''s not that bad. Well, it is that bad; Hughton is going to take us down. And let''s forget about this stuff about over-reaction to one game. We played against a team that haven''t kept a clean sheet in god knows how long and couldn''t score. The form and performances in this calendar year is that of a relegation candidate. Time for the board to act. Square pegs and round holes!
12. It''s interesting that even John Ruddy has spoken out today about the need to adopt a more positive style of play given that we have the talent to do more that sit back and defend. Call me old-fashioned but the art of counter-attacking also includes attacking (at the right time). Is that CH fault? Well he is the manager, and the manager of any organisation is ultimately responsible. I could understand if we were capable of going and getting a 0-0, but we are not. Can he turn things around...maybe, but we need to see more of the quality that we undoubtedly have. OTBC.
13. Well, I''d take 6-3 at the weekend. OTBC.
14. Being concerned is not the same thing as being negative. Was only wanting a view from someone at the match. Possession stats can be misleading at times but generally the better teams control the game. What we all want is control of the game and to have good attacking options. Is it really not concerning that Bury had more possession at CR?
15. Good to see a few goals fly in but it''s worrying that Bury were ahead on possession stats, and they managed 3 goals. This would have been a good game to start with Becchio rather than giving him 15 mins at the end. I think the Southampton game will gives us more of a clue whether the worries are justified. I hope CH knows what he''s doing, but really not convincing me. Anyone view the whole game?
16. I''m new to this forum, but have being following NCFC for 30 years. I don''t get many chances to get to games due to work etc. Nevertheless, I went to Hull yesterday. I felt the players were really trying but the whole thing was summed up when Ruddy smashed the ball into his own net after a foul. The players don''t seem to know what they are doing and that''s down to the management. It felt like square pegs and round holes. I think the board need to act soon as we only just survived last year. If we can''t beat 10-man Hull...it could be a long season. We need creativity. We need to feed the Wolf.
