Farke and Webber need time...two hours should be enough to clear out of their offices. Close the door on the way out please, gents.

We've only had three games!

We''ve only had three games...and LDC is already making excuses to underpin failure. -

The ''project'' is not down to one man. Webber has sold our biggest assets (some necessarily) and downgraded our squad. One trick German pony. Don''t just blame Farke...get rid of Webber as well. While we are at it, Balls up can go as well as he is an embarrassment. We need investment that the current owners cannot supply. The focus has been on the players but readily the biggest changes needed are in the boardroom. Wolf.- 169 replies

Anybody else beginning to have doubts...
The Big Bad Wolf replied to CANARYKING's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don''t understand why some folks think next season will be better. Based on statistics we are getting worse since our relegation from the PL. I fully expect a relegation battle next season. Our best players are being sold and replaced by inferior ones. You can''t do that and expect to be moving up the table. It''s a sad decline. -
Uninspiring

Why is anyone impressed with Webber and Farke?
The Big Bad Wolf replied to Jezzard's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Stick with Farke. Ditch Webber. Despite the optimistic outlook of some, my view is that playoffs are out of reach this season. Nevertheless, we have some exciting youngsters. If we can keep most of them, this time next year I can see us in the playoff positions. Farke is learning and slowly building a team and philosophy. I just see Webber as a chancer. -
If Farke gets the sack I hope Webber is out the door straight after. He is a first rate bull sh???er.

Well the board put faith in the duo of Webber and Farke to get us out of the Championship. They are on course for that. Personally I have lost patience with all the BS supporters are being fed. The dynamic duo need to go...along with most of the board. What utter garbage we are being served up. Unless there is the biggest comeback since Lazarus big changes are needed.

Not at the game but slightly concerned about some of MBs updates about our defense. Seems like things are no better. Can anyone at the game give more details? -

So where do YOU think we will finish?
The Big Bad Wolf replied to Dean Coneys boots's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
About 8th. A better team effort but lower quality squad than last year means reasonably similar finishing position IMO. Webber and Farke must be judged by results and the league table, not by how many passes we make, or if they come across well in media interactions. Not really interested in image or rhetoric...time to walk the walk and see where it takes us. I am waiting to be convinced the overhaul has been well managed...not just to save money but to aid the future of our club. Yes, it may take some time but respect must be earned by results not just performances.- 66 replies

The bottom line is ACTUALLY this...
The Big Bad Wolf replied to Dean Coneys boots's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I am certainly worried about the quality that we have in the squad. It represents a downgrade imo but I remain hopeful that Farke may be able to improve some via coaching. I have said elsewhere that the opening to the season has been a reality check. I remain optimistic that we will improve but can''t see us challenging the top six. I was reminded by Ricardo yesterday that it may be too early to make predictions...after only a couple of games. I am neither a clapper or wetter but other than a marked change in style I am left thinking we are making less chances following the sale of better players while the defence appears no better. -

Fair point Ricardo. And thanks for an excellent overview of the game. -
5 things we learned today
The Big Bad Wolf replied to dylanisabaddog's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
1. We haven''t solved our defensive problems. 2. Webber talks a good game...but mostly it''s BS. 3. We are five points behind the scum ffs. 4. Possession means f all if you have no cutting edge. 5. Farke is no messiah. 6. You can''t sell your best players and expect to improve. 7. I can''t count after alcohol. -
Ricardo's report v Sunderland
The Big Bad Wolf replied to ricardo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Reality check. We are short on quality. Expect a mid table finish at best. You can''t expect to sell your biggest assets and still be towards the top of the league. We have enough quality to survive but not to be challenging for promotion. Sad reality is we are mediocrity. Not convinced by Webber or Farke. Respect is earned. Time to deliver gents. -
I don''t think we have enough for top six. That could change with good signings but as it stands about 8th to 10th IMO. Really not sure if Webber and Farke are going to deliver great results. Saving lots of money with ambition to play good football, but lacking the quality at this stage.

Bit of a reality check for Farke. Hopefully he and more importantly Webber can see we are short of quality. Not all the youngsters are going to cut it in the champs and others need more time. We need a couple of higher quality signings. Okay, only a preseason friendly but not filling me with confidence at this early stage.

Cautiously optimistic sums it up for me. Changes were necessary. Like others have said, hope we don''t lose either NO or CJ. I think we have let a few good players go (for various reasons) so hope the quality of replacements are decent. I think where we can improve is as a team. At times last year we looked disjointed with no clear game plan. I don''t think AN got the best out of a good squad. The question is whether Farke can pull things together so that collectively the team performs better than the sum of its parts. Can he get more out of what is probably a hungrier but less talented bunch? Like I said, cautiously optimistic but things will become clearer in the next couple of months.

Webber''s comments certainly put a different perspective on the situation. I wanted JH to stay, but it seems like a parting of the ways was inevitable. Whoever you believe, fact is there was a relationship breakdown. We move on. He''s not irreplaceable and if the money funds a couple of decent defenders it could work out okay. What''s the betting he scores against us?
