  1. Bloomin’ ‘eck, if you’d only turned to drink at the start of the season, we’d be in the automatic promotion spots now!
  2. For Stacey … not just this game but the last few games, he makes long busting runs down the wing only to deliver very poor crosses. Needs some 1:1 coaching on this. In todays Preston game I gave up counting after he got to 5/5 crosses that were very ineffective. I actually think Stacey is superb, I would not swap him for Aaron’s. So if he can improve the crossing area of his game he will be immense!
  3. Stacey - 3 crosses in first 11 minutes, all 3 not even close to a Norwich player. It’s been like this with Stacey for at least the last few games. Do you think they coach him on crossing?
  4. Is it our defenders (back 4) or defensive tactical system (whole team)?
  5. It was a big test of the elephant in the room with us coming up against one of the league’s best teams. I didn’t get to see the game, so I’d like to know what we were like defensively?
  6. Agree. Thanks to Gunn and poor finishing from Plymouth we won the game.
  7. Wow! Is this real? I don’t recall so many Norwich players making a team of the week before 🤔
  8. Yes well done, for the first 4 and arguably the 5th goal, all 5 scorers AND assistors have surnames starting with an S. FREAKY!
  9. A friend sitting next to me made an excellent observation at half time. What did all the first 4 goals have in common? And arguably the 5th goal if you include Sargent’s shot as the assist for Sara (that’s a clue!)
  10. Best game for us yesterday? I know it was against a bad side but he was excellent and produced 2 assists. I would have put him as a MOTM contender. What was the bloke called who used to play right back for us? Max someone-or-other 😉
  11. In the Gunn Club after the game, a lady I was with popped to the toilets. On returning, she asked the table of guys I was on if we were interested in what a group of ladies in the toilets had been discussing! Well, since discussions in ladies toilets is one of the remaining mysteries of our time, we were naturally fascinated to know more. In the end a little mundane to be honest, they just talked about the game: ”First half was amazing, second half after the goal really boring.” Probably sums up the game tbf.
  12. 100%. Yes, we had a man sent off but we should have kept on the front foot and had belief that we are better than middlesborough. Instead we sat back and let them attack. Those old enough might remember us going 1-0 up away to Man City (at Maine Road!) Man City then had a player sent off! Guess what, we ended up losing 3-1. The sudden turn from attack to defence was as much a mental switch as due to going a man down.
  13. Some good points well made. You are right, I am tarring everyone with the same brush. It’s so hard to know from a distance who is good va who is bad. Maybe someone can publish a league table of politicians to help me to know who is clean and who is questionable!
  14. Sorry I still have my cynical switch turned on. Know where you’re coming from. I just see all these prime ministers and senior politicians with nice directorships etc after leaving their role, no doubt due to the favours they did while in power. I just find the whole think corrupt and distasteful. It is also a system of government designed before modern technology, to divide the country into regions as you couldn’t expect everyone to go to one place to vote back then. ok, soap box is put away, back to football talk! OTBC!
  15. Point is, he wanted to be a politician. Better to force someone against their will to run the country (laugh emoji as not serious but element of truth). That’s about as likely as the FA awarding retrospective yellow cards to players for diving/conking the ref
  16. The man who ousted Bradley Johnson from the club. Johnson said he thought he would see out his remaining years with Norwich, and was still a hell of a player. But Neil didn’t like him…
  17. They’re too professional to accept alcohol after a game
  18. I was behind the goal with my young son. I had a premonition that something was about to happen so I lifted him into the air just as Johnson released his thunderbolt!
  19. Anyone who actually wants to be a professional politician should be banned from entering politics!
  20. We are very, very lucky to have Kenny in our team. With the excellent season he is having I’m surprised his value is still questioned.
  21. Away from home needs something different. Mass moonies at the time of the triple substitution would be profoundly effective!
  22. Bring back tie ups and black boots! (laughing emoji)
  23. I think Wagner and his support staff and NCFC leadership really ought to take the time to try to understand the root cause of all the frustration, and try to address that through open communication. Part of the issue is the poor communication and the frustration that results is compounding match after match until it results in booing a winning team. So I would not be too hard on us fans, there is a reason for this frustration and we haven’t seen the end of it.
