1.
Raises the same old questions though. Why was Klose not playing over the past few weeks? What do we do with our strikers in training as neither looked like scoring tonight. What has Hoolahan done to suddenly be the least desirable attacking option? What is the point of Mulumbu? He wanders around the pitch like a drunkard. Why does Alex Neil wait so long before making substitutes? We need a fresh start. I want AN to do well but I''m sure most people on here feel like it''s just not going to happen.
We need a fresh start. I want AN to do well but I''m sure most people on here feel like it''s just not going to happen. Sums up how I feel exactly!!!
 2. Lafferty can score goals...We need a goalscorer! Lafferty scores goals at international level...and we need a goalscorer! Nothing more to say!
 3. The look on his face when he scored his goal yesterday spoke volumes regardless of the reason! He looks to me as though he has that desire to prove to AN that he can do a job for the team. The chance came and he scored...what more can the bloke do? Add him to Louis Thompson who should start the next game and maybe just maybe we could be onto something. Thompson''s direct runs into the box gave the Leeds defence something else to think about. For once we had a player who utilised the space in front of him. Over to you AN! And just so you know I watched the Leeds number 2 run unmarked (past Pritchard) from his own box into ours to cross for their second goal. My point being that our although our defence are somewhat underwhelming at tge moment the bodies in front of them (and behind them) don''t help. Defensively clueless at times!
 4.
Nice thread and best wishes to the chap, and good on you Russell Martin 👍
Agreed!!!
 5. Lafferty hasn''t been given a good run in the side! He was played out wide when he first got here! Regardless of his off field antics Lafferty has scored goals at international level but allegedly he''s not good enough to play for us!!! Give him a run in the side and if he doesn''t perform then fine we can all have a moan but you can''t judge him on a couple of substitute appearance''s in the first team and playing in a second string eleven.
 6.
McGovern''s been perfectly OK - two clean sheets prove that. For the intensity of a local derby I wouldn''t be surprised to see Ruddy recalled...
McGovern has played in the European Championships so I honestly don''t think Norwich v Ipswich will bother him.
 7.
Not joking - it''s all about opinions. I do think Ruddy has more of a presence. What did Rudd do wrong, clearly he is not solely to blame for the defeat, he hardly had a blinder if 5 went past him. Goals are whizzing past him at the moment and it must be denting his confidence. If Ruddy had been letting this many in everyone would be screaming for him to be dropped. I''m not blaming Rudd for the defeat, but I would take him out of the firing line for the more experienced goalkeeper. I make no mention of the "defence", rest of the team, tactics or selections - I just think Ruddy is worth a start. I am making a presumption he is fit and motivated.
Denting his confidence??? The goals were nothing to do with him! It won''t dent his confidence! If Ruddy starts next week only then Rudds confidence will be dented! Rudd has good technique and he looks comfortable. It''s the defence that will end up denting his confidence. I wish everyone would stop treating him like a child. He deserves his chance cos he''s waited long enough. Judge him on the work he does and not the players around him!
 8. Please tell me you are joking!!! Ruddy has more of a presence??? How many goals were Rudds fault and what did he do wrong? What could he have done better? At half time Klopp must have said "Target the centre backs!" Enough said! It was the back four as a collective unit who struggled ....Especially the CB''s.! Redmond looked slow to close down when the ball was wide for the first goal. (He looked lazy and scared to challenge for the ball at times) then the Liverpool player had too much time in our box. Again the Liverpool player had too much room to pick his spot for the second. The less about the other three the better so yeah replacing Rudd for the next game would be a great move! And where was Ryan Bennett???
 9. If Lafferty was such a troublemaker then why didn''t go out on loan to Leeds? Time to give him a go. DM has been the only striker who''s looked the part. As I''ve said previous you can''t judge Lafferty until he''s had a chance. On paper he''s a goalscoring international striker who''s goals have helped N. Ireland qualify for a major European tournament. What''s Grabban done?
 10.

You can''t judge him if he isn''t given a decent run in the team. Doesn''t matter if he''s the worst trainer in the world as long as he can put the ball in the net who cares! Unless AN has something up his sleeve for January then why not give a ''confident in front of goal international goalscorer'' a chance?
So a manager should play a player for "a decent run" to show the fans why the manager doesn''t play the player?Help me out with that logic?
Well there we go then! Your go Bor...... BELLEND ALERT! (You fill in this bit of the post) END OF ALERT (Optional)
 11.
Sorry Bor but quite a lot of difference between Lafferty and Becchio.. - Lafferty started off really well for us, showed a lot of strength when running with the ball and also linked up neatly with Hoolahan - He was also always played out of position - His goal scoring record internationally has been very impressive - He came on against West Brom in the cup and scored a top quality goal, before forcing another - Our other strikers are hardly bossing it at the moment I''m not advocating in any way that he is the answer to our problems, just don''t see the harm in throwing him on after 65 minutes and seeing how he does or giving him a start one game. Much like we saw in Grabban starting the last 2 games completely out of the blue, what on Earth had he done to warrant a start? I''d much rather us take a gamble on starting Lafferty up top than Grabban! A lot of neutral friends have also questioned why Lafferty never plays. Of all the things you can nitpick our fans for moaning about wrongly I''d say this is probably the most understandable.. I personally think there must be some kind of attitude/off the field problem.
Thanks mate! 👍 I''m not saying Lafferty would be the answer but he''s worth a go.

Come on......How do you know???
 13.
***BELLEND ALERT***
What has Grabban and Jerome got that Lafferty doesn''t have??? Please please someone tell me cos I''m funked if I know why an international goalscorer hasn''t been given a chance.
***ALERT OVER***
Fix your alert status Mister!

 15. Would be nice to find out!!! Grabban offers nothing different imo. Can''t rely on Jerome all the time. DM is doing ok so give Lafferty a go! An international striker who looks confident in front of goal! Worth a ''Gamble'' would you say?
 16. What has Grabban and Jerome got that Lafferty doesn''t have??? Please please someone tell me cos I''m funked if I know why an international goalscorer hasn''t been given a chance.
 17.
Where are all the numpties who said Adams should be given the sack and that he was the wrong manager after last nights victory - funny you have all gone quiet - and didn''t phone up on the canary call. Did you bother to praise your team or were you trying to think of something to complain about! Neil Adams will prove all the muppets wrong who said he was the wrong man for the job and we will get promoted and they will look silly.
Well said!!! Trouble is the negative folk will return. Should have been a lot easier than it was last night but still well deserved. O''Neil, Lafferty , Redmond (2nd half) were effective. Howson must be one of the first players on the team sheet and (for all the people who didn''t want Cameron Jerome) bargain of the season for a certain striker!
 18.
Nuff Said wrote the following post at 2014-10-26 7:22 PM: Come on then, everyone who is convinced that our current course is so wrong - what would YOU do now? Put up or shut up (or support the team). You asked so here goes: Adams on appointment asked the club to employ Joe Royle. The reasons he did this are obvious - an experienced coach whom he could sound of, and learn from. Not withstanding Adams inexperience, his coaching team are also inexperienced. It shows in our last seven or eight performances, and no more so than yesterday. Gary Holt only had one season coaching Falkirk, our other coaches were promoted from the youth set up. Nothing wrong with that, every one has to learn. But consider this, why do industry have apprenticeships? So those with experience can teach the newly introduced staff the job. Royle chose to return to his home club, and NCFC and Neil left it at that. Therefore my suggestion is we look for someone with that same knowledge, to help Neil, to look at his tactics and team selection and style of play, and have experienced input into the coaching set up. The current course is not so wrong, but it could become so very quickly, so that''s what I would do, I would look to bring that experience in, and I do not think NA would be against it either!
That''s a option ☺
 19.
Footy Bloke wrote the following post at 2014-10-26 3:46 PM: Negative Negative Negative!......We are a big club so there is always pressure with this job! If you think that my friend, you are as naive as Adams himself! And just who is slating Adams. And the expectation of the fans is correct, given the ''attacking mandate'' that Neil Adams himself endorsed at the commencement of the season. Did you see the game yesterday. Have you watched the team this season? We have not scored in the first half of the last TEN games, and we have not won in eight. Yesterday he picked a defensive formation to not lose, and we creating very very little!
No I didn''t see the game yesterday but I''ve been a season ticket holder for 5 years. I admit that we took a while to get going but which player was allegedly pulling of world class saves yesterday??? Yes be confident but also respect your opposition. And I take your point about not scoring in the first half of the last 10 games so what would you do to change that statistic that Adams hasn''t? Football is a matter of opinions but look at the bigger picture.
 20. Negative Negative Negative! Are we creating chances... Yes! This is a competitive league and whether we like it or not the truth is this league will throw up unforseen problems ie teams defending deep and with numbers behind the ball. We are a big club so there is always pressure with this job. Especially when you have fans who, it seems, expect us to win every single game! Football doesn''t work like that. Hughton was experienced but he wasn''t great was he? Adams has the players playing for him, we are near the top of the league, we are creating chances so I''d put my money on us being back on track sooner rather than later! I can''t see into the future but given the evidence it seems to be a reasonable assumption. Stop slating Adams! What do you negative fans want! You never seem happy!
 21.

Terrible manager, we''re a whole 3 points off first place. Whatever is he doing? Get a life, all teams have dodgy spells during a season and we are having ours now. By all accounts we again met a keeper at the top of his game which seems to be the case when we are scratching around for a goal or two.
No he''s not a terrible manager because in truth he is not a manager at all and and never will be .Neil Adams was a half decent co presenter on radio Norfolk and if he were to return to that job Canary call would certainly improve as would the City football team for being rid of him .How he got the job in the first place just highlights how amateurish this football club is , had he applied for a job at a conference team he would probably have been turned down as too inexperienced.
Totally Clueless! It''s embarrassing to be honest! Go support someone else!
 22. I know that RVW and Hooper can score goals. No doubt about that! But imo Hughtons way of playing them has ripped out their confidence in their goalscoring ability! Surely that ability is what attracted Hughton to sign them in the first place. Good strikers play on their instinct. They don''t need to think about how they are going to finish or score....it just happens. Top strikers know that if they miss then the chances are that another chance will come along soon. RVW and Hoops don''t have that luxury! Who can imagine what goes through their minds that spilt second before their attept on goal. "This is probably my only chance" "I haven''t scored for ages" and so on. And while they are thinking that they aren''t concentrating on doing what they do best.....Hitting the back of the net! Regardless of how much money they earn they are still human. No wonder RVW lacks confidence!!! Anyone striker would in this Norwich side!
