1 minute ago, Jim Smith said:Stacey is indeed much improved although he had such a dip in the middle of the season I can’t see him as a POTS candidate. He was really, really poor during that spell. Another one who is better attacking than defending which seems to be the way with modern full backs.
Most players fall in that category including Sara who suffered a dip in form.

Yes Stacey has had a good season overall and a vital part of out playoff push.

Would be happy with this swap in all honesty. Mikey Johnston fits the profile we should be looking for and would be an improvement in squad quality and age profile.

I suspect there are various moving parts currently. Not to mention our longer-term plan and whether that involves a new manager etc. Watch this space I suppose, but you would expect Knapper to have a mindset on longer term recruitment regardless of manager.

I suspect SVH has been earmarked as a replacement to Barnes next season. If Sarge leaves and we are not promoted then we would need to replace him with a similar mobile striker, who clearly isnt SVH.

Just now, Graham Paddons Beard said:Kenny made 75 passes today with 83% passing accuracy.
I was referring to his long balls mostly went to the opposition. I'm sure lots of our players had similar stats from passing backwards/ sideways.

Snowflake fans who give it the big one but can't take it back can go cry in the corner.
Not sure I'd agree with this. Kenny having overall a good season but was poor today. Most his balls went astray, but then did a lot of other players being sloppy in possession. When the tempo is changed we look a better outfit. Slow build up play and we look like a clumsy team.

I saw the extended highlights from the celtic game yesterday. A good header for the goal and a simple finish for the second. Im glad his loan is going well. However you could see that he still struggles positionally and doesnt bust a gut to get on the end of good crosses. Its beneficial for all parties that he does well on his loan obviously, but just my take is that we sell if we can get a decent price for him.

I think Dimi was at fault today. Bad subs as well didn't help us. Nunez injury is worrying as him out leaves as lacking in the middle again and exposing our lack of depth once again

https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/147266-rowe-rowe-rowe-your-boat/#comments
However think it's fair to say that when we got the news that Rowe is set to miss a few months we all panicked a little. But now we have played a couple matches without him.. Well, let's look at our last two matches. Eight goals scored without him!
So all in all, while losing Rowe is a bummer..
Have we missed him?
Not so far, but pending any potential injuries we could be back in trouble. Luck needs to be on our side so we can continue trying to secure a playoff spot.

I see Rashica is back on Farkes radar with an offer rejected.

Very accomplished and tidy at this level mostly. He is susceptible still for questionable balls and against better opponents you would get punished. Nonetheless he has been consistent in the most part this season

39 minutes ago, Crafty Canary said:Should bring in £30 million plus this summer for the club’s coffers. £25 for Rowe and Delia will be able to place another order for gin and sherry.
Seriously though I think that Gunn, McLean, Nunez, Sara, Sainz, Rowe and Sargent give us a base for developing a squad capable of surviving in the PL.
You can take Kenny out of that mix. As much as he is accomplished at this level, at prem level he is nowhere near good enough.

Emi = Rowe
Sargent = Pukki
Now it was well known that when Emi didn’t play, we didn’t tend to win.
It was also know that Pukki was very rarely injured if ever? If he had 20 games out like Sargent, would we have been more successful than this season?
Could it be Wagner is the best coach we have had in a generation?
Rowe is nowhere near the standard of Emi

How must he be feeling. Surprised he's not torn his contract up
Yes clearly a competent player who must feel rubbish about moving to us and not playing. I just dont think he our passing from the back strategy, which I think me and most people were bemused as to why we bought him!?

He better, as Sorenson would get mauled by Kieffer Moore.

Clearly Wagner likes ball playing Centre backs / building from the back was his rationale behind putting Sorenson in that position and not one of the centre backs. He had a good game, but for me as a club & team, we need to push forwards and personally I would like to Sorenson moved on, with some others as well.

7 minutes ago, Google Bot said:Only Knapper can do that, Delia is too emotional and Wagner has the language barrier to be so precise in the terminology to be used.
Maybe we could practise writing the script, and send it to him?
Yes its Knappers place to back up his manager and add unity. If he decides that radio silence is the answer, then that shows his character. *albeit he likes to not listen to the noise 😉

2 hours ago, Capt. Pants said:Trouble with Rowe is that he is yet to complete a full season.
We're now down to Onel, Fassnacht and Sainz. With Tzolis and Springett on loan, Placheta gone and Rowe injured it's starting to look a bit bare bones.
Sarge on the wing anyone 😉
You're forgetting Super Sorenson our utility player all star, who is actually pretty turd.

Im not going to lie, this upset me. Wes was a great player. Jonny Rowe is capable of providing magic moments, but you cant really compare the two.
