  1. Let us try again. So if they are all in it together, why was Stuart Webber singled out for allowing this interview to happen?
  2. This is your original post that I replied to... "Good for Davitt. And for Connor Southwell, too. I know he often uses fifty words when ten would do, but he isn't scared of being honest about how he sees the club. Webber crows about how honest and straightforward he is, but he can't cope with honesty from others." Where is the 'THEY' in your accusation? You have since pivoted to 'THEY' but that certainly isn't what I replied to as you can see.
  3. You are not answering the question like everyone else.... Stuart Webber was specifically called out. Why is it HIS responsibility to screen the media comments of the Finance Director?
  4. It's not part of his job at all. You are saying 'they' but Webber was specifically called out. Stop moving the goalposts.
  5. The Pinkun still refer to her as that. That is how she has been known throughout her career. Are you also suggesting that it was Zoe being referenced in the comment?
  6. I'll ask again... why is the football director, a technical role, responsible for the Media department? Why would they 'speak to' Stuart about a media item that has nothing to do with his role?
  7. "Webber crows about how honest and straightforward he is, but he can't cope with honesty from others" This was the original post that was referred to. Is there any doubt which Webber is being talked about Til?
  8. 'In my view' is the key part. Norwich City FC is a company, it does follow regular structures and it makes no sense at all for a Financial Director to sit under a Technical football role. Zoe is on the board, Stuart is not, they are not essentially the same.
  9. The sporting director does not sit above the finance director, that is just a fact. You don't like him, fine, but this 'I reckon' kind of commentary from people like yourself is pure conjecture. What I've stated is fact.
  10. "Webber crows about how honest and straightforward he is, but he can't cope with honesty from others" Does that clear it up? Again, let's be frank, when she joined the club she was Zoe Ward, when she joined the board this year, it was as Zoe Ward. In the article released this month (https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwich-city/canaries-ncfc-stuart-webber-chelsea-off-field-appointments-9326336) she is called Zoe Ward.
  11. Webber isn't above him. This is pure conjecture from you.
  12. She is called Zoe Ward. Don't be obtuse, when you say Webber you mean Stuart. Cowardly to try and make out it is Zoe being referred to when challenged.
  13. Anthony Richens is the Finance Director, Webber is not his responsibility. If you know for a fact the culture is bad fine but, does Webber dictate the actions of the Finance Director?
  14. Yes, Anthony Richens is finance director, he doesn't report into Webber at all.
  15. What has Webber got to do with Anthony Richens interview? People will take any opportunity to have a pop.
  16. It’s difficult because Zoë is obviously fulfilling her career here. He has a good job and he can see his wife everyday. However if he has ambitions to work in Europe, He can’t be firing on all cylinders. I think the climbing thing is a substitution for the job he wants, challenging, high stakes, travelling.
  17. It added context by adding the full quote not one sentence. It’s not literally the same. That said I don’t particularly think the whole quote helps him. It’s a spiky answer and a not a reassuring one.
  18. Didn’t they operate two of their ‘levers’ with the Spanish governing body to keep their spending within the rules? It means they have sold off future tv revenue to 3rd parties. This means their wages to turnover ratio meets the requirements ( for now ). Reckless but within the rules no?
  19. Sure, everyone has a 'use by date'. I personally see the foresight of the investment in South American scouting BEFORE Brexit rules kicked in as proof he still is an asset to the club. My observation from interviews is the American investor is quite impressed with him and Webber is the best person to gain the learnings from the Brewers data techniques, he has previously sought similar learnings from F1 teams for example.
  20. Why mention the sponsorship deal then in a thread called ‘Stuart Webber’?
  21. He doesn’t negotiate the sponsorship deal. The person responsible left soon after.
  22. Apart from all that….. what have the Romans ever done for us? You answer your own question really. You mention the redevelopment, category 1 academy and community hub. You say it was paid by selling gems while not pointing out those gems were developed under his regime and sold at top dollar. You say he has spent the most but he has brought in more than he has sold. You talk of his latest signings as crud but they really aren’t and his investment in scouting South America before many of our rivals post Brexit showed foresight. Nunez for 4 million isn’t crud. You dismiss two promotions and two years of Premiership money as nothing but when he took over we were just as likely to go the other way. I don’t see how anyone can’t see his tenure here as more positive than negative to be honest. He’s made mistakes but when you make so many decisions, they aren’t always going to work out.
  23. I disagree. I’ve seen a number say Dean Smith isn’t close to the fans because he doesn’t go over to them every game… like Farke did.
  24. Farke doesn't give a s**t about you. You are so far from his thoughts. He is not wishing he was back here. Yet you actively look for faults in the new manager because he didn't do the 'hey hey hey' clappy thing for you. If you want that, book yourself tickets for the panto. What Smith does do is critically assess the team after games and points out what isn't going well, which Farke didn't. I personally would rather hear hard truths than easy lies, but it appears I'm in the minority.
  25. I had this thought too. I think it depends on Hayden unfortunately or Lungi coming back. Nunez would have to be at the tip, his carelessness with possession will then no longer be a danger.
