  1. The real issue here is not age it’s atmosphere. Everyone should receive cheerleader leading training in North Korea during June and July. It’s time the Stowmarket Two bring about a socialist revolution at Carrow Road.
  2. "A team of nobodies and never will be’s That have consistently outperformed us all season." I''m not sure many 1p5wich fans would agreed that they had outperformed us all season. Forgive me if I''m wrong but didn''t we win at their place. However football is a game of opinions and you have stated yours. For me any win is enjoyable. The second half clinging on is all part of the fun. How dull life would be if everything was handed to us on a plate.
  3. I remember that goal so well. What a player. I agree that there are getting to be too many 1 minutes applause. What a good idea to have a Saturday set aside to remember all those connected to the club. However I will still be taking a moment to remember that goal. Cyrille Regis truly a great footballer. R.I.P
  4. Wow, what a great performance. Last minute equaliser. Brilliant It''s been tough at times this season and I''ve been critical but f me that was immense. Well done to all the team awesome. OTBC
  5. Having been a lurker for many years I have to say I loved a good Wiz thread. Nobody else has come anywhere near in terms of generating debate. Plus I much prefer flip flopping to maintaining a ridiculous point of view and never admitting your are wrong. But thats just me. R.I.P Wiz your like will never be seen again.
  6. I''ve been going with my Dad for over 40 years. But have to admit this is the first season I''ve felt like there must be something better to do on a Saturday afternoon. And it doesn''t really make sense we have been stuck in the championship for years before and still we renewed without question. Why does it feel so hopeless right now?
  7. Totally agree with those that have said game was like so many games at home this season. The stats show we played ok in almost every home game yet we still go behind when on top far to regularly. I didn''t boo because have seen the same game and have become indifferent to results. Enjoyed their goal, great strike but also enjoyed a comeback win. Nice to walk home on a bit of a high. How are we supposed to respond with the football we have seen this season. We look at best a mid table team.
  8. No banter that label''s others as somehow inferior should be acceptable. Having a laugh with someone should never involve characterising some aspect of that person as wrong or somehow less that others. So often humour is used as an excuse to carry on creating an atmosphere where minorities are left marginalised or feeling that they are supposed to somehow see that it''s just a joke. prejudice of any kind is not a joke. Football still has a long way to go in terms of promoting equality. Let''s not fool ourselves racists, sexists and homophobic behaviour is still part of every day life in our culture. I commend the you GP''s Beard for bring this out into the open. Football is about shared experience and community. What better place is their for us to challenge discrimination.
  9. Hopefully we can find some consistency and be challenging for playoffs.
  10. Totally agree, the was great today plus Josh seems so much better with him behind. Both played well today. Great to see another youngster coming through.
  11. Let''s be honest he is not good enough.
  12. Good to win but thought it played out like most home games this season. lots of passing to no effect. Then conceded goal again. Another comeback win but let''s be honest we should not be finding this hard to win at home. As for building for next year time will tell.
  13. I''d sell them both if we can get good money and suitable replacements. I still think we need a proper old fashioned centre forward and a short quick bloke. When plan A goes wrong too often there has been no plan B.
  14. Definitely no genius. Great to win today. especially because I''d force my poor old dad coughing and spluttering to the game. For a moment I thought he was actually not going to come. He moaned like hell at half time but second half made the trip out much better. Great goal by Morison. Other than that Millwall looked really poor. Should have played stronger team at Burton. Winning games in the league is the most important thing. Thought Josh had his best game for ages. Great to see him running at defenders. Onwards and upwards. Even looking forward to the FA cup game. If we win the cup then he will truly be a F.A.rking Genius
  15. Happy New year to all. Looking forward to the game tomorrow. Come on you yellows
  16. The problem is not the safety group it''s the fans who stand. Their selfish behaviour is what has created the problem. I''m in favour of safe standing areas but whilst we still have all seater grounds we just have to put up with it. I do understand that for some standing is really important to them but the club is just following the rules. It''s a shame for those kids not to have access to what is mostly the noisiest part of the ground. I remember being in the Barkley as a young child and it was mental whenever we scored.
  17. My plan is to keep going to every home game. Cheer on the team and see what happens. There will probably be some departures hopefully not Pritchard or Maddison. We definitely need another striker. Oh and also look forward to the FA cup game. I know we shouldn''t play our best 11 but I love the FA Cup so feck the league and go for it.
  18. Josh really seems a different player now that his brother has gone. He seems to have lost focus getting caught out waiting for the ball to come to him. It''s as if he''s not really fully there. Particularly in the last two home games. He definitely is not worth a starting place at the moment. Maybe people are right and he could do with coming on as an impact player. He has the ability to score goals and create them. I''d like to see him running being played as an out and out winger. None of this he''s no good at defending. We already know that. Huckerby was no good at defending. Fuel fox was no good at defending. Why don''t we have fullback doing some defending. That way when our slow attacks breakdown near the half way line Pinto and who ever is the other fullback can do some defending. The way we play at the moment Pinto and Stiepermann are so busy overlapping deep into the other half of the pitch that they are constantly out of position when the opposition break forward. Anyhow that''s a bit of a rabble but Josh should be on the bench.
  19. I''d like to stand up for the person who complained.
  20. Is this what we have got to look forward to arguing with 1p5wich fans about who has the most empty seats (this is one competition they are beating us in almost every season for the last 20 years. It''s more difficult to spot the supporters amongst the empty chairs at their place.) Who cares what they say on T.W.A.T or whatever it''s called. Almost full in my part of the ground.
  21. Strangely these are a pretty fair representation of my views
  22. You can still be a fan and think one of our players is rubbish. And he was really poor last week and really terrible today. But I think you are right when you say plenty of them were rubbish today. Yes he can make defence splitting passes. We have seen him play well. Let''s hope they can all play better in the next game. My hope is that things are going to get better and we just might manage top half finish. We can''t be this bad or am I just fooling myself.
  23. According to New Scientist magazine LSD is good for your mental health, so let''s hope he is. I do agree with him that we were better than last week but we still never looked like winning.
