1. How many transfer windows will it take for us to have a descent defence? This issue with defending has been our problem for at least the last three seasons. 🤬
2. Very very wet West Norfolk. Hunstanton and Fakenham like some kind of stormy apocalyptic nightmare
3. Totally agree. Loads of possession has = 0 points for us so many times this season. If I see another goal against us when our full back are still in the oppositions half of the pitch I’ll throw my dads season ticket in Farke’s face. Scoring goals wins games.
4. Thanks for report. I quiet enjoyed the game. I can see why Cardiff have done well. Big strong players with a little bit of quality too. However just like many home games this year we have looked good enough to win but have lost. Can only hope that we find a striker who can score 20+ goals next season. I thought Reed played really well and we look more solid when he plays in that position. I love Pinto with his powerful charging down the wing but it does tend to leave us a bit exposed. How many goals have we conceded with both our fullbacks left stranded at the wrong end of the pitch. However only 1 more home game to go and we can start to dream about next season. Comedy ref added to the fun, everyone loves a good boo
5. "Istill look forward to watching my team regardless of league position” Me too.
6. I like him. He has good close control and can score goals from outside the box. Petulant maybe but definitely a decent forward in this league. Not particularly good in the air so not well suited to loan striker role. Will be surprised if he is still here come August. Hopefully we can get £5m for him.
7. I am on lots of happy pills it’s true. Unfortunately I’m not allowed to give them out to others. My daily prescription does come with green and yellow glasses and I have found when I don’t wear them everything looks terrible. I also suffer from an increasing hatred for the colours blue and white. And of course outbursts of booing at halftime.
8. Looking back on what has been a far from positive season is it possible to argue that we are heading in the right direction. 1. Despite major rebuilding our defence still looks shaky particularly when playing 4 at the back. 1a. Zimmerman and Hanley look like great players giving us hope that the defence could be ok even if Klose leaves in the summer. 2. Despite having loads of possession of the ball in almost every game we still struggle to score. And as we know scoring first is so important in the league. 2a. Recently we have looked more like scoring and at home we have scored 3 goals in a game. Yahooo. 3. Farke has had to manage during a period of decimation of the squad. Every single senior player bar Wes and Tim have been culled and loads of new players have come in. 3a. Player that have come in are beginning to show they are good enough for this league. 4. Tippy Tappy football is boring and on too many occasions both full backs have been left stranded up field when we lose possession in middle third of the pitch. 4a. Quick passing possession football with the added ingredient of scoring goals will turn us into the Man City of the championship. 5. We have a number of promising young players who have yet to brake through into the first team. 5a. Promising young player don’t often fulfill that promise. Think FAcup winning youth team, how many turn out to be good enough for the championship and more to the point good enough for the premiership. So a season of glass half full or glass half empty, you decide As a fully signed up happy clapper I have seen enough positives to believe we will be in the top six come next May. OTBC
9. This has possibly been the most depressing season ever. Particularly for home fans. The season is nearly over and we still can’t defend. This after all has been our weakness for the last three years. And we can’t score goals. Maybe all the tearing apart of the squad and building afresh will come good in the end but there is little on offer to help me feel optimistic about next season. However on the booing front I’m pretty pleased at how that’s gone over the last 9 months.
10. Anything less than £20 million is daylight robbery. Can’t see him going anywhere near a struggling Premier League club. Like someone said earlier on the thread would need to a Leicester or another established team. I’d love it if he stays but we have to be realistic.
11. This match sums up the season for me. Ups and downs but never really looked good enough. LDC positive outlook got me believing 5 games ago but should have known better. Home form has been rubbish. The only highlight has been watching Maddison and even that is spoilt by the knowledge he will be gone as soon as the transfer window opens.
12. Yes. If club gives me back my money as they have taken £500 quid twice for next years season ticket.
13. Let’s be totally honest neither Josh or Nelson have looked anywhere good enough to solve our goal scoring problem. Particularly at home our attack looks light weight.I blame the system we play. All season we have needed a six man defence to have any chance of winning a game. Not enough chances created and when chances are created too many missed. This is the worse season I can remember for excitement at home games. If I see another 90 minutes of sideways passing I think I’ll throw myself in the wensum.
14. I thinking I might put 5 pound free bet on it. I wonder what odds you could get.
15. It’s not plausible However why not dream. Keep positive LDC there’s enough doom mongering in the world. OTBC
16.
The Neymar thread shows the small minded fans up in our fan base and is why a player would probably never feel comfortable discussing the matters discussed.
Good to see I’m not the only who found that thread offensive. The reason why these ‘issues’ have high profile campaigns is precisely because some would rather say it’s not a problem I get on with everyone, than sit up and take notice that young LBGTAQ+ people are more likely to suffer from mental illness, more likely to commit suicide than their heterosexual peers. Prejudice in all it’s forms is unfortunately as present today as it’s always been. Just look at the rise in right wing extremism in the west. We know all to well how much a professional footballer can suffer if they come out publicly. I look forward to the day when gay footballers feel completely ok to talk about their sexuality.
17. My word LDC you really have an incredible ability to shine a terd
18. First half was good. Although it takes about 15minutes for us to get to ball to the halfway line. Farke has definitely worked hard getting our players to keep the ball. Today’s game sums up our season. The game should have been over at halftime. A season of could have been Still, feeling more confident that we can make top 6 next season.
19. Great report Ricardo. Just been watching the video highlights and reading TWTD. WHAT FUN. Apparently we celebrated our goal like we’d won the World Cup! May our unbeaten run against the scum last forever.
20. Not really looking forward to Sunday, will have to put up with my Dad’s constant doom mungering on walk to the ground.
