Those in the know about our youth
BobLoz3 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The bits and pieces I've seen of Elliot Myles makes me wonder if we'll actually hold on to him. He looks a fantastic prospect and I always get concerned some Prem club will come in and snaffle these talented youngsters up, before we get to see them play in the first team (like Alex Matos). If we do, we could have a really exciting player on our hands there. Adegboyega looks really good too, comfortable with the ball at his feet, strong and athletic. Let's see how things go for him on loan. Ditto for Hills, who seems to be doing well at Accrington. Aboh surely must be in with a shot for the first team soon, perhaps Lima too and Kamara is also doing brilliantly on loan I believe. The problem a number of Norwich fans have is not being able to see past the here and now and I for one am glad we invested in youth and improved the academy because it will surely pay dividends. -
Thehullboy - more positive about us than our lot!!!!

I love the lad. Always complimentary about the team and our fans. Seems to always have a smile on his face and gets super excited to meet players. -
This was hilarious indeed. Especially when he said his players didn't dive. Watch that back, Liam 😂

Wagner and Huddersfield
BobLoz3 replied to Bradwell canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You could have said that when Farke was here, when we bought all the "second rate Germans" as many put it. We managed to get promoted because we had a clinical striker and some creative midfielders and attacking players. But nobody thought we'd go up and lots of people got fed up of the "sideways and backwards" game that Farke employed. We won a bunch of games though and the squad turned out to be better than many had thought. Right now I don't think our squad looks that bad on paper. But we're massively underperforming. -
Personally I think Hwang should have been playing more in the "ten" position, behind the nine. He was pretty awful when he tried to lead the line as that wasn't his game. However, the one or two games he played in the ten, he didn't look too bad. Watford being the game where he really shone. As it is, with this stuff looming over him too, I think we made the right decision in sending him back to Nottingham Forest

To those obsessed with boos.
BobLoz3 replied to BigGrantsTash's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I absolutely hate the boos. Some people behind me the other day booed Onel when he came on. I mean that's just absurd. Booing an individual player? Come on. I guess I understand a reaction of booing if the footie has been terrible and we've lost a game we were expected to win. However, right now we're not really in the position to feel we have a divine right to be beating people left, right and centre anyway. -
What an earth is knapper waiting for ?…

Wahey! Hello all! I'm back. Well, I've been lurking but haven't really been inclined to post. I'm not as Wagner out as some people I must admit. Predominantly because I have absolutely no idea who we go out and get to replace him! So, I'd like to hear some ideas. I remember how rash it felt sacking Farke, despite the fact we weren't doing well in the Prem. And I think that decision set us back some time, especially in regards to his utterly useless replacement who is now managing in a league that Rooney became a manager in. I also remember plenty of people on here and on other socials who wanted DF out, and they are probably the same people who want him back now 🤣🤦 So, go on. Who do we get? I saw someone mentioned Warnock which would be quite funny. -
The binners are getting cocky...
BobLoz3 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
As I said when I saw the post on FB... At least we don't have a tree growing out of our stadium roof -
Some people even set up a protest at St Andrew's Hall. Wild times

Haha! Look through my posts and you'll see I always had Pukki's back. To such an extent that many of my friends rip the life outta me for getting ridiculously annoyed when anyone said "His legs hev gorrrnnn" 😂 The goat 🐐 No question

So we ruined Billy's future for Chelsea?
BobLoz3 replied to spencer 1970's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
This is certainly the bit I focussed on when reading the article too. It makes sense. Potter's teams are always well set up, work hard and play nice football. We tried to do that but failed on most levels in the Prem. Billy was just exposed in that side and him and all the others had absolutely no confidence after getting hammered most weeks. I don't really rate him after the experience we had here, but I'm sure he'll go on to have a decent career. -
“Do not let this become an emotional game. I said at the start lads, they have got it all to do. Not us. Not us boys. They have. So understand it. Be brave in our moments. Manage the game at times as well as understand at times we’re going to have to go long. That’s not a problem at all if their press is right. Perfect balance. “But understand as well lads, the front five in this team, in our team, in my team, are deadly against their team. So get them in the foot race, get it into our feet, be creative in and around the box. Then, in the other side of the game, do it to a tee like you have and we go again. Let’s go.”

I see Millwall fans enjoyed the match
BobLoz3 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Sure, I totally realise this, as I was watching just like everyone else. My point is, if the stats said we had 12 shots then we had 12 shots. Doesn't matter if nobody remembers seeing them. And I agree. Milwall were hard to break down in the first half but they also offered pretty much no threat to our goal. -

"It said Norwich had 12 shots in the first half but I didn't see that happen" What an utter lettuce. The stats are there for a reason mate! -
There's a new striker in our camp...

They're all from Coritiba so a Brazilian side rather than Chilean. -

Was he? I can remember Byram ousting Lewis on the left but not so much Aarons (unless he was injured which he very rarely is). Byram is a great player but doesn't have the same attacking instincts as Aarons imo. Max has been our best player so far this season. I would be gutted to see him leave. -
You're getting your Saxons and Icenis mixed up mate!

Would you be upset to lose Rashica?
BobLoz3 replied to RobertRosariosBeefTomatoes's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Wouldn't bother me really. I've felt quite let down by the signings we made last season and I can't work out why or how Farke thought Rashica would fit into his Norwich side. Never plays to the strength of our best goal scorer and also never looks like scoring when getting into good positions. So it'd be ok by me. Would we have time in this window to reinvest? I don't know. Might already be something on the cards -

Good to see Gibson has a sense of humour

Yeah the kid who did it was literally that. A child. Summer holidays create these strange creatures. -
Presumably trawls all aspects of social media to find out these little Easter eggs and nuggets of info. I ain't hating on it, it's impressively mental. 😂

Definitely not his biggest game. Arguably, all of those were in the Prem and that didn't work out. The players are the problem I think. We need passion and togetherness but we seem to be seriously lacking in both depts. There are a few who seem up for the scrap but I think our signings (last season) have been woeful, unfortunately. Said it a million times but when you can't replace your best players and try to head up to the Prem, expecting to win games, then you're already going to war without a gun.
