  1. Why does it make any difference about the timing if you were a Farke Out person? Surely you wouldn't care when we sacked him as long as we did? I've not confused anything.
  2. Umm... Yes they have. Not just on here but all the donkey brained "fans" on the FB page too. Absolutely loads of tripe. Now Webber is "evil" and "calculating" to an extent where people think it's his fault and he should go. Christ. At this rate there won't be any staff left at all! You can't have your cake and eat it. Be careful what you wish for etc. The way the players have come out with an outpouring of public affection for Farke shouldn't be underestimated. I find it difficult to know who will come in that can make the team as "together" as they apparently were under DF. It's going to be a weird transitional period with a new manager coming in who doesn't have "his players" at the club. We'll see I guess. Just wish Daniel the best and hope that we can progress on from here and not undo the good work.
  3. Before the game today I remarked on how grim faced Delia and Michael looked. I wondered if a big decision had been made. I never wanted him gone and am pretty shocked at the manner of his sacking. I am not entirely sure who will come in and do a better job but I admit it's intriguing. I just wish the best for Daniel and I'm pretty sure he'll go on to get a good role and do exceptionally there too. Danke, boss.
  4. Bound to score against us 😂
  5. Same here mate... I honestly like to think that it doesn't affect me but I feel utterly drained after a terrible result. But the football as a day is about more, for me, than just the football. It's seeing friends, having a drink and some nice grub beforehand etc. Of course, that day is even better when we win but I also appreciate the time I share with everyone massively, even if it's a crap result. I think we shouldn't lose sight of that. How football brings people together with a shared experience when supporting the same club. Unfortunately, it also massively divides people! Haha... We're a fickle bunch as fans and that is our right. I just feel that the club needs us more than ever at the moment and hopeful that the noise at Carrow Road is reciprocated with a good performance. 👍
  6. I'm not saying anything was said. It's in reaction to what Webber was saying. "We don't need our fans singing songs about how rubbish the opoosition are because we're drawing after 5 mins" I mean, I've heard songs before that would suggest he's talking about the "how sh*t must you be, we're drawing at home" or replace that with "winning away" etc. I'm not saying this song is exclusive to Norwich fans, other fans do it, but it's not a nice thing to hear for players I should think. All it serves to do is drive the opposition on. I think this is what Webber was alluding to. We also seem to not support our young players very much sometimes. Remember the Murphy's and everyone giving it the sarcastic "whheeeerrrr" if one of them took a shot and it flew over the bar. Why do we do this to our own players? That's just weird. Anyway. Gonna win on Sunday aren't we so hopefully none of that will have to occur. Lovely.
  7. You're being Frank, not Fred, on Sunday hey? Good for you. I think Lakeys post was absolutely fine. He's right. Why do we sing such crap to our own team?! It seems rather bizarre to me. Booing also sucks. I don't think anyone is achieving anything with any of this other than to wind themselves up. Have a day off on Sunday please. I'd also LOVE IT if we beat them, perhaps to shut some of you ninnies up. OTBC x
  8. I think some are also forgetting his defensive abilities. The left hand side has been a problem for us this entire season and is, in part I'm guessing, why we switched the formation. We simply don't have another winger/attacking player within the new crew who seems as willing as Emi was to get back and help defend. This means we haven't been able to play the formation we excelled with last season, at least not as well when we've tried it.
  9. I think this is a good post and also worth noting that we've brought in some really good youngsters too this season and a few of them have already had experience playing at League One (or two) level. Hopefully improves their chances of getting better during their time with us and progressing into the first team set up
  10. "HoW cAn I Be RaCiSt... I HavE a BlAcK fRiEnd" "HoW Can I hAtE wOmEn... My MuM is OnE" Is basically what this guy sounds like.
  11. Didn't think he was particularly impressive last night. We still haven't learned our lessons of the past when it comes to defending. Hanley will likely never be dropped and I was in the camp that he shouldn't be. However, he seems to be struggling big time in this league. Again. We shall see.
  12. Umm... Wow. That is very interesting. I mean, you're right, it does sound crazy, racist, abusive etc. but it's also not surprising that it happened. Which is the saddest thing
  13. Once went into what is now Last Pub Standing with a mate, before a game. Probably about 5 or so years ago now. When we got in there, it was teeming with some rather sketchy, chavvy yutes, clearly off to the footie, and the police were actually IN the pub to keep an eye on proceedings. We drank our beers pretty swiftly and left. I still don't know to this day what the heck was going on in there!
  14. She probably hasn't but wanted to do it. Why wouldn't she want to be involved with the FA Council? Another thing to put on an already impressive CV.
  15. Brewery Tap will be ideal for you! It's my local and they are the best pub around! Honourable mentions for The Arti, Fat Cat and Canary and Wig and Pen.. plus shout outs to Coach and Horses for a good away day experience. Although it's always rammed so perhaps not ideal. No, The B Tap is the one. They don't have any TVs and are not really interested in footie (well showing it at the pub at least) But they do have some cracking beers and all ages are welcomed!
  16. Personally I think Rupp is a neat and tidy player, while not doing anything too spectacular, he keeps things ticking over. But look. We've signed some new midfielders and when they have settled and had more time with the team we may not see Rupp starting so often. Farke likes to keep a settled side as much as he can. You could argue that, much like the last time in the Prem, because we never string wins together like we do in the championship it's a bit more difficult for him to choose the same side week in, week out.
  17. Oh yeah. Wildschutt as a full back. Pretty hilarious Also... Husband. Eek. Bless him.
  18. I think the best thing we can do in this situation is look at how we've developed other young talent in the past. That, after all, is partly the reason we have been trusted with Gilmour. Skipp didn't start amazingly well for us in the championship, but he progressed with each and every game, until he was fully comfortable in his position and the rest is history. With Gilmour, you have a player who has had a few games in the Prem albeit with some excellent players around him. Chelsea want to see how his progression pans out in this league hence entrusting him to us. The issue is, it's not the championship now so he has to try and develop in a difficult league. If he plays enough I think we'll see more from him but it is entirely possible that now we have our other midfield enforcement, he won't get in at all. That would be disappointing for all involved but now it's up to him to show what he's got.
  19. Haven't seen the other promoted clubs signing many (if any) players with Premier League experience...
  20. Gilmour's position is his position. That's where he's played for Chelsea in the past. Thing is, there he has Kante alongside him, or one of Chelsea's other many good midfielders. We may not see him start at all now we have our other midfield reinforcements sorted.
  21. Totally agree with the last part here. Pukki isn't really the type of player who thrives on balls from the wings. Most of his goals come from defence splitting passes, often straight balls for him to run on to. Having watched Tzolis now I feel that he may well be more of an answer to provide those kind of passes. Also, possibly Normann when and if he pushes up the pitch as he's a very good passer of the ball. However, from all I've read and watched of him this far, it would suggest he likes to play with fast wingers too, pinging balls from deep out wide (which he is very adept at). So, this suggests to me it'll continue to be more the way we play now.
  22. I don't know if anyone else has seen this but it's a really good analysis of our new lad! https://totalfootballanalysis.com/article/mathias-normann-2020-21-scout-report-tactical-analysis-tactics?s=09 TLDR: Can pass really well especially when sat deep, doesn't tend to make loads of tackles but makes a lot of interceptions through intelligent positioning, can progress play well but doesn't tend to run with the ball. (Edit: just seen different stats that suggest he does like a dribble and is pretty successful at it) Ps. I think this may have changed slightly now as it's from last season.
  23. A donkey who Ronaldo fully rates. Probs just so he'll give him rides around his estate
