1.
Would it work if we were all given a pair of headphones that plugged into the back of the seat in front then we could select "Goal music", "OTBC" or "audio book" according to our preference?
That''s a good idea, you could also have a running commentary, that way the glory hunters would get to know who our players are.
 2.

You work 8am  to 6pm, Monday to Friday,  you get home each evening and the kids are tearing the house down, the wife is at the end of her tether and you collapse into an armchair and pretend nothing is happening, sit quietly hoping it will all go away, watching One Show/Eastenders/Corry/ whatever other stuff is on offer/go to bed and nothing happens there either.   You get to Saturday and you are dragged around the shops and can''t wait for the moment when Norwich are playing at home.   And you can''t help it,  it all pours out, the frustration, the pent up anger, the unfairness of it all - the players are rubbish, the manager is rubbish, the ref is worse than rubbish, Delia can''t cook, the fans around you are rubbish - and there it is - you finish the match unaware that you have been shouting out complete garbage for 90 minutes annoying everyone around you.   Do you care? No, because you feel alot better for it....
So you''re not getting any then?
Me?   Just had some thanks,  going home now...........

 4. I used to dislike the goal music, but now its a relief as scoring has been so hard to come by.
 5. In simplistic terms, the op has some merit.   The tactics against the top six teams have yielded good points at home.   To have been more attacking against some of the other teams may have got us more points - but it may not be so simple.    Hughton appears to want us to play is in the same way every match and have a consistent approach.  If he had changed tactics around too much for different matches we might have lost that consistency which has put us into 12th place so far.    So to think if things had been different we would be better off is easy to say, but the facts show we are doing pretty well as it is, so full marks to Hughton, so far.
 6.
Thought Turner was immense against Everton and in general when we have got the big results this season his performances have been at the heart of it all.   I don''t really go along with the notion that he struggles when he''s not with Bassong or rather that he needs Bassong alongside him to be a good defender. He''s proven himself at other clubs in the Premier League when he hasn''t been playing alongside Bassong.   He''s made a great partnership with Bassong because they''re both good enough to do it at this level and it''s a naturally balanced right and left side. But if Bassong is out injured and Ryan Bennett plays all of a sudden you''ve only got 1 good central defender (Turner) out there as Bennett is a weak link at this level and someone is playing on the side of defence they''re not really comfortable with.
Agree Turner is doing well.    But the difference between Turner and Bassong is that when Bassong plays, it doesn''t seem to matter who plays alongside him - Barnett and Bennett have both looked good when playing with Bassong.   However, when Turner plays with someone other than Bassong the defence looks less organised.    That''s not running down Turner at all but it shows Bassong is the lynchpin of the defence.
 7. If Tettey is fit I would put him ahead of Johnson.   I think the combination of Tettey and Kamara in the same team would be explosive!        Martin  Turner Bassong  GarridoSnodgrass   Howson  Tettey    Pilkington                 Holt   Kamara Becchio Hools to come on if needed
 8. quote user="Norwich or die tryin!"    You''ve really got to question what the hell Hughton was doing starting Wes on the left in a 4-4-2. I thought is was only Bryan Gunn who was stupid enough to think Wes can play that position. You could see from the first minute to the time he was taken of that he was totally lost and ineffective in that position. He is not a winger!. Why he took so long to put Pilkington on aswell is staggering, it was obvious to everyone in the ground at Half time that he needed to make a straight change, Pilks for Wes. If Hughton has learnt one thing from yesterdays game then i hope its never to play Wes wide left again./quote In that case, he may not get another game.   The team has to move on, after all.
 9. 12th.   It sounds good, long may it continue, or even improve and agree Hughton is doing a great job.    Already this season a ten match unbeaten run and another in progress.  The bigger picture for this season is that we are competitive in all matches and the results against the top teams are just as important as the ones against the lower teams.      Also, a difficult (frustrating, but not disastrous) spell has been seen through and yesterday was the spur we needed to kick us on.
 10. Can''t quite believe this thread.   So when things are tough and the team are struggling its the manager''s fault, but when they play well and get a result its all down to luck.   Its called management, people - he brings in players, building a team, gradually getting things how he wants them - and he gets paid by results.  Anyone care to suggest he isn''t getting results?   Does not three points constitute a result?  Does a four match unbeaten result not constitute a result?   Does not eight points above the relegation zone constitute an ongoing season of  relative success?  We are lucky to have a manager who the team will play for right to the last kick of the game.   That is where the luck is.
 11. We can dissect the game today,  pull the tactics apart, declare a new hero in Kamara, run down other players, suggest ways it could have been better,  but whichever way you look at it the result today was what mattered.      And when it mattered - we won.   That, if nothing else tells us much about the spirit and the capability of our team.
 12. Thought Holt looked happier today - two or three good attempts and of course the winner.   Shows that with the right players beside him he is still a force.   Kamara and Holt - a front two to savour - and with strong competition from Becchio.
 13.
Thought Mike Liggins talked a lot of sense; we didn''t look like winning at 75 mins! Forget his day job - he''s a fan just like the rest of us...
Canary Call should be the best place to go after a match to hear good discussion.   Instead its a waste of time because of the callers they choose to put on.    Its spoiled by the fact they appear to choose who they let on the radio rather than let ordinary folk have their say.  It has to be "entertaining" rather than just natural.   The media like to control everything.
 14.
Not vintage? I think Norwich were very good value for money. Apart from their goal which was a good into the box similar to kei''s goal. Everton didn''t look like scoring a second. The team out there today barring becchio should be on the bench and kei starting. Should start every game from now. Keep that tool tettey out of the side. We played much more positive with out the holding midfielders. Keep the 4-4-2 going!!! 2 more wind required!
Are you for real?
 15.
After 80 minutes, despite us playing quite well but without looking like scoring, all I could see was relegation. After 93 minutes my feeling is that we''ll now be ok.Our season turned around in 13 minutes
It was a big win.   Reminded me of games in the championship when we used to pull out a victory from nothing.   A good day!
 16.
How do you know he''s not the perfect starter?
17.

Yep, 4 points from 27 plus the loss to non-league Luton. But it matters not - we''ll pick up three points against Everton and things will start to look a lot rosier.
Kiss my face!
I''d rather not.   A stopped watch is right twice a day too.........................
 18. Holt still the king.  Scored the winner, don''t forget.   Kamara though is a breath of fresh air - actually more like a hurricane of fresh air.
 19. Which book were you reading today, grandad, or did you drop off before the end and miss the goals?
 20.
Can''t believe we''ve won. Kudos to Hughton for bringing on a sub with time to do something. Kamara made a huge difference.
Kamara and Pilkington made the difference.
