Try focusing on the present. Thats rich considering this is the first season in many many years ipswich have finally made it out of league one & into the championship. Compared to Norwich regularly bouncing between championship and premier. If Ipswich go up, good luck to them, but we've still got half a season to go, and in this league there are no guarantees whatsoever

He's clearly taking his time "to assess" things. Better results (albeit not performances) has given him more breathing space, and the the key to his influence will be through Jan (keeping our best players, shipping out deadwood and what we all want, who he can bring in to improve things) We've scraped through a set of fixtures where we've got results, performances haven't been much better, but now we have a tricky set of fixtures against teams doing much better. This is the key litmus test. I fear we'll struggle, and shows we can only just about beat but a few really poor teams. Whether that gets him through to summer I don't know, but another runs of losses and even Knapper might say the time is right for a change

To me its simple. Kenny in defence hqs sured up our defence, and also allowed improved performances from Duffy. That partnership is actually working, so.dont change it. I dont care if Gibson and Hanley are back, they'll have to wait for their chance. Prior to that Gibson and Duffy wasnt working, and we were leaking goals.for.fun, so that also dispells the myth a left footed CB should.come back in Moving Kenny from midfield has also allowed Nunez & Sara to create a more effective midfield, again which is working so dont change it. The only conundrum for.me is up.front with Sarg coming back. Id continue with Barnes at no.10 and Sarg up.front, else try Hwang at 10 as he was in form when he got injured. Both Hwang and Sarg give us better and stronger options up front than we currently have. Rowe and Sainz should start as our wingers. That, to me is our most balanced side

Dobt change a winningvteam. Mclean has been playing well at CB, and Nunez growing into his midfield partnership with Sara. Thats tied in with our upturn in results. We shouldnt tinker with that purely to accommodate Gibson, just beause hes fit. Wagner will ruin this if he reverts back. Players have to earn their recall and there's nothing to support Gubson coming back yet

If Hwang makes the bench, why.would he now choose Onel behind Barnes. Idah has failed again to take his chances, and to me shows he just isnt good enough, but feel sorry for him, unless Barnes or Rowe will play upfront and behind, with Onel on the wing

Well Ipswich is our real test. A derby and coming up against a team in real form. Not convinced Wagner can see us through that one, and concerned Duffy and Mclean could have a hard time on their hands

Idah is a mystery. Comes off the bench as saviour, then two full games starting and cant get on the scoresheet. And he's done that before. When Hwang and Sarg are back we'll hopefully be more clinical up front, which is exciting

And yet we ignore the elephant in the room that is Duffy. Batth should be given a run instead of Duffy

I think after the next two games Knappers job will likely be easier to decide. We cant stick with this.mediocrity. anyone can see we're not going anywhere under Wagner

I dont think Wagner knows what our derby is, or means. I just think his tactics and our players wont rise to the occasion and sadly theyll beat us. I want us to do well but its impossible to see that under Wagner, and we need a fresh start, even if it takes Ipswich beating us to open our deluded Boards eyes. Hopefully Knapper will then act

I'd prefer to give him 50-60mins every game instead of Onel, and then we can judge him. Surely he cant be any worse than Onel?

So in summary, it's pretty turgid stuff, and once again we're playing poorly, against a poor team for the 4th or 5th game in a row. It's not really getting better? Maybe Gibbs can come on for Idah (who never does anything when he starts!) and get that last min sneaky goal!

Astonishing Onel gets a start each game and yet performs poorly with no end product! Mclean in defence again. Maybe this is his calling! Idah getting a start now needs to show he's not just a super sub. Rowe and Sainz to come on is encouraging against tired legs. Here's hoping Knappers Jan plan is to replace Onel!

Even the commentators were saying Batth was unlucky to be dropped, and they also said he'd look far more accomplished than Duffy, for even the few games he'd been playing. Kenny isn't the answer long term in defence, especially when we've played such poor teams recently, but you could argue Duffy has been poor all season and yet seems undroppable

How.long is he suspended for for us. Really want Batth and Warner to continue against QPR

My worry is we're keeping Wagner until nearer Jan, when his contract will be up for review. To me this smacks of the cheap option, rather than getting rid of now because the results and performances have been very poor. A poor result against qpr and this international break has been wasted. If promotion really were our priority for the season Wagner should be long gone by now.

What an awful line up with Henderson, Maguire etc, when this in all.truth is a friendly. What a waste to blood some other players in. I suppose Tomoroi gets a chance

Disagree with those saying he's got no experience. What he will have is transferable skills which will ease him into this role. Sure he'll have things to learn, any new role requires that, but he'll have plenty of ideas he'll want to implement.
