  1. CH is a nice decent chap....but as Lawro said at the very start of the season he is a good coach but not a manager ..and this has been proven beyond any doubt at NCFC.
  2. Just hoping WB are thinking about their holidays and are not bothered ...as if they turn up to play we will be beaten...trouble is its our own fault for being so negative for so much of the season ..we should not even be in this situation had we played with the intention of winning rather than not getting beaten...really regret CH being appointed the manager has been a big disappointment.
  3. Yes two shots ...really making the goalie work..we must have the lowest shot ration in the league ..I am sure they do not realise scoring is actually the whole point of the game..remember the good old days when we used to attack and score goals from open play..? CH really has ruined our team...same players complete lack of ambition...wonder what Ricky is thinking right now???
  4. Bunn was poor today...Ruddy would have had a better chance of saving the first goal being taller than Bunn...and the fact he is a much better goalkeeper! However, CH hates to make changes, which is why we are in this situation - caution first every time!
  5. I have disliked CH for a long time now because he is tactically poor, he sets up the team not to lose and they lose..he is unable to change games because he really does not have the skill to do so. If, we are relegated he should be shown the door..."You don''t know what you''re doing" was the most telling chant from the fans today ...
  6. Actually I thought we played well in bits but as for most of the season no attack...we just can''t score goals and goals keep you in this league. Unimpressed with CH, if we mange to stay up it will be a miracle Wigan keep picking up points and it is really hard to see us winning against West Brom and certainly not against MC...poor season, lack of quality in the team..missed the chance to strengthen the team in January..poor management.
  7. I must admit I thought we were doomed when I saw the same lineup from last week. However, playing two up against a far superior passing side would have left our midfield overrun. So, fair play on that point. However, we were pretty poor again until we scored, then we started to play a bit and suddenly there was a spark of desire. I always thought Swansea would score again they outclassed us in attack and we looked all over the place at times. NCFC going forward still looks a bit clueless if KK is a forward can he please stay upfield instead of drifting back or onto the wing - what is the point of someone six foot three trying to cross the ball to WH in the box? I am not a fan of CH tactics they are very negative but more and more I get the feeling this season is just hang on and get through it and next season we will see "his team" emerge ...
  8. Have to agree with you on Holt. Two games now he has come on angry! Bad tackles, moaning at everything... he is not a happy bunny. I would have prefered Becchio he has more mobility and something to prove since he has joined us .holt as you say is a car crash waiting to happen. For the first 20 minutes were were poor once again and after Swansea scored I did fear for a bad result. Luckily, EB had a really good game and put in some great crosses. A draw was a fair result- we could have lost this game on another day. A lot is being said about KK, to be honest he is not match fit at this level. He has great control, is good in the air and rarely gives the ball away...he does drift deep which causes a problem for the team as then there is no one in the box. I am not a Howson fan, he played a bit better today but please do not call him an attacking midfielder - when was the last time he had a shot at the goal??? Overall, we miss Ricky W, check out some of the goals he has scored on Youtube..the boy is class and a natural finisher - someone we really are missing at the moment ...
  9. I believe a lot of the negativity from fans today stems from what we are seeing on the pitch. NCFC play a very negative game, minimal risk - keep it tight hope to nick a goal. It works some of the time, lose a goal late in the game and you need a lot of luck to get on level terms. Did we deserve to lose today - NO! However, the tactics dictate our style of play and remember a lot of these same players were bombing forward last year under Lambert. We shipped goals but we went at teams and scored. Now, we seem in fear of crossing the halfway line - to me its not the way to play. Give it a real go - play without fear...that way fans respect the players. I dare any one to say watching City play this year is entertaining! The majority of games have been dreadful, and I am sure people like Holt have suffered under CH. I have to agree, a couple of wins and the whole mood will change on this board - however, lets be honest - we struggle to even make the opposition goalie get his shirt dirty ..let alone find the back of the net ...
  10. I think he works really hard and to be honest its a big step up from the US League..most people were saying he would be rubbish before he came here...instead he has shown some promise.. The trouble is not ONE of our forwards stands much of a chance when the service they get is pretty dismal. Becchio has not produced much..I thought he would be better..but again..they are all feeding off scraps. KK is certainly worth a punt of a contract...
  11. Have to agree a really poor performance, passing was shocking, high hopeful balls to no one in particular, very bad ball control. Pointless playing one up front with no support especially at Wigan. Had we gone for the win I am sure we could have got something out of this game - this defensive type football, with a lack of ambition is drawing us closer to the relegation battle. What was the point of throwing on Becchio etc with just a couple of minutes to go I don''t think he even touched the ball! Wigan are not a good team, but the sad fact was we looked at about their level. Just can''t see us scoring we look devoid of any ideas - what has happened to my team???
  12. I have to agree a point is better than nothing. I think what concerns supporters is the way we are playing (or the non football we are playing). It is negative, unattractive and at times bordering on the tedious. Had the Saints got their shooting boots on we could have been two or three down and it would not have flattered them. They passed the ball better, had much better movement and looked positive when going forward. CH has a master plan to survive this season - I am sure that is his brief - keep us up and I think he will do it. Every point is a bonus - but there are too many players in the team who just don''t have the quality and technical ability at this level to play attractive football - and I guess we have to accept that fact until CH can change things in the summer.
  13. Have to agree Bassong and Turner did a decent job today - but can anyone explain why the Norwich players have lead in their boots...? Almost every pass or cross is over hit ..and why have we turned into a long ball team? Hoof football means you generally lose the ball and have to defend which is why Bassong and Turner end up working so hard..I thought Stoke were one of the worst teams to watch but I think we are pushing them for that spot ..
  14. I always feel sorry for Bradley - with Howson alongside him he has to do twice as much work. Howson is NOT a PL standard player - week after week he puts in poor performances ...I am sure he would be great back in the Championship - some players just can''t step up... As soon as I see his name on the team sheet I know we are going to struggle ...its like starting out with 10 men!!!
  15. If, we make that to five ....lets just say I think we will be safe for this season.
  16. KK played really well and lifted the team. He was the "spark" that led to the win. We looked very ordinary and lacking ideas before he came on. I am sure NCFC were clever enough to write something into the loan contract. He has a lot of skill, very fast, good in the air, good on the ball, links up play well...everything Becchio has not got at the moment..I think it might take him awhile to pick up the pace - now who would have thought that on transfer deadline day???
  17. Boy is KK quick...he left a couple of Fulham defenders standing when the ball was put down the line! Looks decent in the air too..Felt sorry for Becchio second half he hardly saw the ball..does not really matter who plays up front ...with the negative tactics CH has brought to the club we are always going to struggle to score.
  18. Personally, I do not see Holt as a problem at all - he is as so many posters have pointed doing what CH has told him to do! He works hard but he can''t be on the wing, in the box, and heading the ball on all at the same time. The problem is that the midfield do not support him. If, Holt drifts onto the wing who goes into the box? I believe the midfield have been told to hold position at all costs - keep defending, keep the shape and this is why we have scored so few goals.
  19. I have to agree that a lack of good reserve games could be a factor - but I disagree about the "match fitness" it was hardly a game played at a million miles an hour - if we could have moved any slower we would have been in reverse.. The fact there was limited movement off the ball contributed to the long balls pumped up the field. Basic skills like passing has everything to do with training and earlier in the season we kept passes short - kept control of the ball and created chances. We let Luton dictate the game because we lost the midfield - Howson and Fox are no Johnson and Tettey - we should just admit we have 11 decent players after that the rest are not really up to it no matter how many games they play in.....
  20. I am impressed how Hughton always looks like he is waiting for a bus when standing on the touchline - instead of looking like he is managing a football team during games! I am impressed at how Hughton is surprised teams turn up at Carrow Road with a game plan - are they allowed to do that? I am also impressed how Hughton praises up the opposition who are always "quality"...does this mean he thinks his own team are rubbish?
  21. The problem with highlights are that they do not show how poor we were over the 90+ mins. Yes we had a few chances - but surely against a lower league team we should be creating a bucket load of goalscoring opportunities. Luton defended well but we were beyond slow, for the first 30 mins the game was pretty dire - there was no leadership, no drive, no real ideas, sloppy passing and I am starting to believe we did not have a game plan!! It would be wrong to single out players as it was collectively bad - but Howson and Kane - were next to useless - again something they tend to miss out in highlights! All season we have struggled to score and this game showed how bad we have become in front of goal. If, Luton get another PL team in the draw I suspect they will be ripped apart in a clinical fashion - and not make the mistake we made by putting out a "weak" not a "strong" team (as CH promised!). My highlight was watching CH stand on the touchline with not a clue what to do....
  22. I think CH was surprised Luton had a plan - as he had turned up without one!!!
  23. To be honest I think it is going to be really hard to attract top quality players to NCFC now - unless you pay them a shed load of money!
  24. Any genuine NCFC fan will be angry at such a poor performance - hence the reaction. Had we really given it a go and then lost - well, you can almost forgive the team and move onto Spurs. It was the fact we looked like the non league team that is so annoying. Pumping long balls up field in an aimless manner, passing the ball around at the back without the slightest clue what to do next ! The Norwich crowd were stunned - who stole our team and replaced it with this bunch of muppets? Whilst CH looked on - no ideas, no plan B, no tactical switches. It is all pretty annoying but hey - we have all been here before and survived...lets just see what happens next!
  25. I have wondered why Kane is at NCFC, he can''t jump, he does not run very fast, his control is not that good and he has no idea where the goal is? Apart from that he looks OK!
