1. Another early alarm for me tomorrow for the game. Then back to bed for an hour after to wait for the proper alarm. Will probably feel like sh*t all day, so hoping the result and performances (and of course the yank commentary) will be worth it.
2. I agree that it can be difficult to manage to pay for tickets regularly (Out of 8 that I was buying, 2 of us now have a ST, and the rest missed out this time round, but hopefully next season will get theirs), but if you want to go, you have to find the money...regardless of your age or income....or you miss out and watch it on a stream (as surely you couldn''t afford Sky, or a trip to the pub if it was being shown).   Although over 65''s are discounted, that doesn''t mean that for all of them, they can afford it any easier. Same for me paying for an extra adult and 5 children.....but I do it for them.   Perhaps there should be another discounted rate for under 18''s, but that would mean you still paying same as what you have, so wouldn''t benefit you.As for under 21 concession, I don''t think that is needed. If we want to watch our club, then we have to pay what they think they can charge...Only if all non ST holders boycotted would the club stop and think (I don''t think that will ever happen).
3. Also confirmed on canaries website....   A live stream will also be available on the official Portland Timbers website www.portlandtimbers.comRead more at http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/hughton-pre-timbers-940228.aspx#iYSk6YKlhS4kAOtz.99     Commentary could be just as good as against the Earthquakes ;)
4. Fer does seem to have an eye to pass the through ball, and great strength on the ball.   Can see him being the fans favourite.
5.

And now I have lost the feed :(
Press F5
Had been...kept saying they had a problem.. All back now.
6. Hope this early on a Sunday is worth it... OTBC
7.
You built me up..... then basically gave me the middle finger
LOL. I was excited....then when read the post totally deflated...but hopeful someone will have details of it somewhere.
8. At first look, I thought the thread said he had broken his back, so glad I read that wrong. Maybe not had a fantastic start to his career, but was he given the chance...nope. Seems he is getting his chance in the USA and so far so good...long may it continue...and improve. Be interesting if he is played with RVW in the next friendly and how they compliment each other.   Can''t wait.
9. Been looking at the schedues of the live streaming sites I use and seen that some UK clubs are having friendlies shown. Anyone have any idea if our game (UK time I think will be 03:30 Friday) will be streamed from any of the sites.Do we have to hope that a channel in USA will be screening it to get it streamed, or are there other factors that decide what is streamed? Thanks for any help.
10. It''s a definite yes for me. Feel confident he can and will score more goals for us if he is signed....Don''t know why I feel like that, but I do..... But also his jumping ability is worth having for defending against corners etc. Yes, I know he gave away a penalty...but that was a very very soft decision. Hoping he gets at least one against Stoke, and then signs a deal with us during next week.
11.

Actually, I do mean R. Martin.I do not think he is as good as Whittaker was before he was injured, and sitting in area o of Jarrold get a pretty good view.Obviously, my opinion may be different to others...That I understand...but if you think R.Martin is that good...who would you make captain if Holt starts too???
Well, thinking R Martin is "not as good as Whittaker" is different to "R Martin has not played well recently", so which is it?
Its both. Whittaker was better, and also seemed more comfortable pushing forward with Snodgrass.Without Snoddy or E.Bennett (depending who plays on right side) a lot more crosses would get through. It just seems that he reacts too slowly at times and attackers can get round him to whip in a cross.Hope he proves my opinion wrong tomorrow.
12. Actually, I do mean R. 13. Lets assume that CH will start with both Martin and Holt. In my opinion, neither have played well recently (would rather see Whittaker back instead of Martin). Who do you think CH would select as captain and why????
14. Lets look at things rationally. Some people posting after todays result (and previous results) are calling for Hughton to be sacked...... Some saying it is the players fault. Others saying it is the fans fault for not getting behind our team. I do not go to away matches (but watch them on streams) I do go to all home matches. Those that go to the games go to watch and support their team........ Hughton picks the players he thinks will produce what HE wants for each match (within the restraints of the current squad he has to select from). The players will play to the best of their ability in any giving day....but everyone has off days at times. Lots of waffle, but think about our squad....How many of our players would be signed by other Premier league teams if we were to go down??? Not many I would think (yes, that''s my opinion, and I am allowed to have one, even if different to yours). We have what we have. Maybe more signings like RVW will come..lets hope so.   We had a bad result today. we had a good result against Man U at home. Todays was perhaps more important and that is why we are angry and disappointed. If we won today, we would have been 10 points clear of relegation. We are potentially (with games in hand being counted as wins) 3 points clear. That still means we are clear...for now. We have a manager and a squad of players.......We have us as fans...Lets get behind them and show them our support. And lets be rewarded with goals and wins...and a third season in the PL.   OTBCWe do our bit, and hopefully they will do theirs.
15. And we could see Lee Camp as a permamnent signing. We could see Bunn being sold as he has proven to be worthy of PL football, so value will have increased...And he has a taste for playing, rather than being on the bench now.Ruddy will be between the posts next season (assuming no injuries).Could be a money earner for the club to sell Bunn
16.
user="pablofarmer"]Bassong Johnson, those that don''t know what must ot go to games! Snoddy
Snodgrass Bassong Turner or holt for his work on the pitch   No way should Johnson be on the list (in my opinion)......Its for player of the season, not for playing well every other match, and yes I have been to the games ;)
17. Just on twitter...   Agent 86‏@Agent_868 BREAKING: Norwich have just matched Celtic''s valuation of Gary Hooper! Bid has not yet been accepted though!
18. I always park at County Hall....as I don''t really know anywhere else to park.Although not tried, is the Morrisons car park opposite the ground manned and cars given tickets for parking there for evening games? There was advertising during the pre season friendlies about parking at the cricket ground, and recall it being cheaper than County Hall...but no idea where the cricket ground is.If parking at County Hall get there early and park on the right (not down the road on the right, as that is awful to get out of.
19. Anyone else log on at 9 this morning for Everton tickets (no gloating ST holders...I am on waiting list)   Tried buying 2 supermember tickets as normal but when I clicked on select seats, I was not allowed to select seats...I had to have 1 seat that was selected for me. Could not buy2 in area selected as there was not 2 together! About 9:25 website reverted back to previous system and all fine. Why do they (whoever runs the website) mess with the ticketing system without thinking to mention it to the customers that use it?
20. First off, hi as first post although been reading for months.   Regarding the ST prices. NCFC main role is to attempt to make money. People will always find something to moan about, its human nature. People can decide not to pay to renew their ST....Thats their perogative. Will NCFC be bothered...Probably not. They have to find a balance for all supporters. They will have looked at figures over the last few seasons regarding ST renewals, and will have also looked at the ST waiting list. Should they cap prices for current ST holder...Why should they. There is around 2000  people waiting for a ST, They won''t know if they got the prices right until the start of the next season, but pretty sure they know they have got it right.....Time will tell.
