  1. I had a long think about our situations after today's disappointment. I don't want Norwich to be a club that gets rid of a great manager (and great guy) when he, the club, and the supporters are having a tough time. Nor do I want Daniel Farke him to feel that he should resign. The club has fantastic owners, a sustainable set-up and some great young players to come through. Just look at supposed big clubs such as Derby, Forest, Wednesday, Sunderland as comparisons. I would rather we go down than lose Daniel Farke, even if it meant we did not come straight back up again. His general football philosophy and style of football is something we have not seen sense Ken Brown or Mike Walker and I believe we are the envy of many a club. All clubs go through tough times and we need to use the experience to make us even better in the future. I suggest that those who already want the manager out (and there are some starting to come out of the woodwork) have very short memories and should be very careful what they wish for. As an example look what has happened to Bournemouth after Eddie Howe felt the need to leave; not only are they stuck in the Championship but their legacy is tainted, we all saw what they had become last season. Oh, and a message to the haters, I am not a newbie, I have been following City home and away for 60 years and the football under Daniel Farke has been the best to watch. I want to support a good, family club, not a Premiership Club 'at all costs'. The money means a lot but is not everything and I don't believe I am the only one to think the Premier League is nothing like the promised land the marketing companies and sponsors make it out to be, except for a few elite clubs. Personally, I find the Championship to be much more competitive and a happier experience all round.
  2. haha you have made me feel better, cheers 🙂
  3. Agree, talking to their supporters they just don't see it, they are delusional. Buy the title, whats the point? £100m for a poseur like Grealish sums it up.
  4. I was going away when you were just a gleam in your old mans eye...
  5. That was about as diabolical as I have seen in 50+ years...
  6. Were you there?? If you were i find your post incredulous. That was proper ****e!
  7. Manchester based., 60's. Issue getting ticket. Finally got in. Had reasonable expectations. Shattered early on. One of the worst performances I have seen supporting City for 50+ years. No fight, zero threat, nobody playing for the badge, easy for the Mancs. Had some proper banter with their supporters to begin with, then they were patronising and felt sorry for us, whats worse than that?! Pathetic big time Charlies, forgot their history. I am big Farke and Delia supporter but I have serious questions after that. Disrespectful to all those who made the long trip, the team should hang their heads in shame. FFS at least have a go!! Then lost my wallet. Miserable f'n day! Thanks for nuthin. Already reconciled to relegation. End of.
  8. Has he at least taken a walk around the area? He can't have...my god, what the hell is he thinking!
  9. I am definitely in shock, this is just so under-priced its criminal - and Villa! Jeez give me a break, I don't care what they have offered him, there has to be more to life than money, what a s'hole club and place!
  10. With respect go do one, this is aggravated robbery...
  11. Balls on the changes says ''...we wanted the football structure in place for the beginning of the close season'' As football is all about money now I think its because they know season tickets sales will tumble if things don''t look much more positive by then.
  12. Yawn...better improve soon bor! My old granny could pass the ball quicker...
  13. Not like the old days...rubbish compared to when we filled the Churchman end or whatever that excuse for a stand was called..
  14. I like the flares I think they look great...just need to let them off properly...elfnsafety and all that...nanny state!
  15. If we were allowed to put a sofa in the opposition''s penalty area for him to lay on between attacks then he''d be a great signing. That is frikkin hilarious...nice one!
  16. I couldn''t get one either, been a fan for over 50 years and feel the same as you, but you are clearly wasting your time arguing with someone as arrogant and ignorant as Morty...
  17. One of the best goals of the season and one even Arsenal would have been proud of! 17 snappy passes and a great touch and finish from Redmond. I could not stop replaying it...
  18. Everyone played brilliantly to a man but what stood out for me was Johnson winning a lot of Ruddy''s punts in there in the air (knock ons to Jerome who was also amazing ). I did not realise Johnno could jump like a gazelle! Also Bassong won everything in the air in defense and had the highly rated Bamford in his pocket most of the game. As he did with Murphy of Ipswich...he has come on great guns under Neil.Terrific game (though I had to watch on TV) and for once I was not a nervous wreck as we played so amazingly well! Neil has given them confidence from his calmness and preparation...what a great manager he is!
  19. Nice work, but how can you ever be a neutral again after he game v Ipswich and that experience at Wembley?!
