We defend well from the front when Holt plays, which implies hard work to me. I think this thread has already established that the real problem is the lack of competition for him. Hopefully this problem is now solved with the new signings. Mind you he is less mobile this days... only natural though as he has always moved better than someone of his build should have any right to.

Constable officer, shall we just go out and sign messi or ronaldo? We made 2 decent signings which have improved the squad, as we needed pace and a goal scorer. If you expected marquee signings you are deluded or ignorant.

Just saw yet another dubious link to Carl Hooper, it says he''s having a medical tomorrow. Apparently signing for 7 mil and a contract of 35k a week. Probably not true but I''m just curious.....Do we have that much to spend?

I hope we get drawn against lower division teams all the way to the final. We''ll have a chance of silverware and still get to concentrate on the league whilst rotating the squad with competition for places fierce..... Wishful Thinking!?

I can''t help think that any below average spanish striker would be better anyway, they coach players so well over there. Just need someone with a good touch and a bit of pace and they''ll fit in fine. Come on scouting network find a bargain !!
