1. So good that we signed him aswell. Not a loan, hes OURS :)
2.
I really hope its not Cameron Jerome. Wouldn''t IMPROVE what we have. I hate to say it but neither would Danny Graham. If he''s not good enough to get in the side at Swansea (which is what the Swansea fans seem to think) then why would he do any better here? Huge waste of 5million quid. Hughton needs to find a someone from overseas I think. Failing that, bring in a top striker from the Championship and hope for the best. Not CMS because its quite clear he''s now found his level (It''s a good job we didnt break the bank for him last year btw!) but someone a little more under the radar. Brett Pitman anyone? 20 goals in 18 appearances. Says it all. Wouldn''t be too expensive either.
Sorry I mean Charlie Austin, not Brett Pitman!

4. Think it was Camara who got the winner. Could be wrong though. Just remember how mental he went when he scored.
5. Anything to shove it in the face of Le Tissier who marked us down for relegation a few weeks back.
6. I think its an excellent time to be playing southampton. Unnaturally high confidence, complacency etc. Rather than a low confidence team who have been waiting for this fixture...
7. cant argue with 12 prem goals. Graham and Holt upfront would be pretty lethal. And english which is unusual!
8. Think holt will batter their championship standard back line aswell. Sorry should have put this all in one post really
9. Also think rodriquez will score for them because I dont reckon Lambert will start
10. 1-3 Holt x2 HoolahanThink Tettey and Johnson will strangle their midfield and leave Hoolahan too much space. They''l score early first but I think we''l dominate.
11. Im not sure if it was his form really. He did get dropped for a length and it must have given him a kick up the backside! Either way, glad hes back to his best. Certainly got a few goals in him
12.
You ''heard'' from websites. That''s impressive. I don''t see it anywhere.   Living in dreamland if you believe this
Didnt really say I believed it. Its a useful topic to talk about though as it hasn''t been raised yet. Or is that not what you''ve come here to do?
13. Think it will be a drab affair which we will end up losing just because of their quality. We will try to bring them down to our level and fail unfortunatly.
14. Hearing from a few wesbites that we might be in for Zaha? Couldnt really see it happening under Lambert but I could see Hughton shelling out the inevitable fortune for a promising youngster. Would like to see it happen but not for any more than 5million really.
15. Would be a bit rubbish. Seen him play for Cov countless times and was vastly ineffective. Lousy team around him though. Seemed very unfit
16. I dont know about that! Bennet was hugely effective, causing their full back problems all day. The crosses that seem to be overhit were from Russell Martin and Garrido! Couldnt really fault wing play yesterday, they were finding it very easy to get in behind the Villa defence. On another day we would have won 4-1! Villa barely had a sniff all game which was excellent to see. We forced them into a long ball game
17. Yeah I agree with the opening post. I don''t often agree with changing a team that is performing and on the cusp of clicking but I think Hoolahan thrives in game thats technical. Stoke are basically a rugby team so I think changing him for a more physical player i.e butterfield or snodgrass would pay dividends. Could also be a game for jackson as I think Huth and Shawcross arent the quickest making it a necessity to get in behind them and causing some problems! I dont think changing hoolahan for morison would be the best idea as Hutt and Shawcross will have the beating of our front pair all day. We need something different for this fixture and I think Butterfield/snodgrass and Jackson are it!
18. Snodgrass was good when he came on. If hadnt have taken that corner quickly and short to hoolahan we may never have had scored. end of story.
19. Right hello everyone. First post and all that. I look on this forum from time to time but I''ve read some things over the last 24 hours that I''m finding hard to understand. Firstly, the thread on Pilkington. Having a shocker. Really? Also Bennett. Wow. Bennett gave Villa problems ALL afternoon. He took his man on and delivered some decent balls into the box. Pilkington the same. Snodgrass also a real threat when he came on. Saw some urgency which was great. Also its hard to score against a team with 10 men. They become more compact and hence harder to break down. Their keeper had a tendency to waste as much time as possible whenever he had the ball. The fact Villa named him MON says it all! Also, what must be mentioned is the fact that Villa''s defence was excellent yesterday. The only light spot on a dark horizon for them. I just think that there''s no pleasing some people. Villa played appallingly in the first 30 minutes and that made us become a little sloppy at times. We had plenty of penetration and created some excellent chances. What did Villa create? On another day we would have put 3 or 4 past them. There were so many positives from this game and feel comfortable with our performances. We''re a better team than last year, stronger, quicker and fitter. Heres to a decent November!
