Top of the terrace
Northern Canary replied to Northern Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It was a good experience with a great view, but the atmosphere of a library. We would much rather be in the stands. -
Just booked tickets for tomorrows game, the only left were top of the terrace in the barclay, what are they like?

Can we still be promoted at Orient?

Everyone pretty much assumed a comfortable win against tranmere, so the result should push it all back a game. Charlton away looks more realistic -
Ian Thomas Moore Great Dive !!!

I thought it was rather rash from Forster, didnt really have any arguments with the red card. -
I dont see why he never uses his right foot. Iv seen him use it in warm ups etc but in the game he will lose the ball rather than pass with his right foot.
-
Hopefully it will start bringing transfer windows to an end.

Why so pleased that Leeds have lost

I looked at it more as a case of Leeds remaining low on confidence for when they come to carrow road. -

Northern Canary replied to John's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I wouldn''t want anyone to get their hopes up. I''m sure it will be another Xara offering, which are ok on design, but pretty poor on quality.
im pretty sure it will be this. the one current to our previous kit was pretty good -

Was there not a period at the start of Lamberts tenure where he didnt use hoolahan? Was that before the diamond?
Despite yesterday''s win I am sceptical that we have a convincing alternative to the diamond. We got very lucky on Tuesday and we will need to be more solid in midfield in the next away game at Oldham.
Agreed. Im not entirely sure the diamond is the problem. If the players all perform, i dont see there being much that the opposition can do. I credit our "dip in form" more to under performing players rather than the diamond being sussed. Its been pretty obvious how our team plays for a long time now.

When will the Doc get full respect?
Northern Canary replied to sonyc's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He was a terrible signing to make in terms of preparing for the premier league. Back in the champ he was then a regular in a weak defence which got progressively worse until the team was in the third tier. He deserves credit at this level, but hes yet to prove his worth above that. -
Its pretty easy to see that he is a key player. I imagine most teams will have identified that and tried to combat it, most of them simply couldnt manage it. Like someone else said, man marking one player out of the game does draw attention away from our other players who can benefit from that. And the odd time that hooly does manage to get past 2 players who have tracked him, it can leave the opposition low on numbers elsewhere which opens things up for a quick counter.

is the premiership the promised land..?

How are West Broms finances? I would have thought constantlly going up and down would be quite lucrative. -
